To throw away this painting - with pic

Bought a lovely Victorian flat with my partner however the previous occupant left this truly awful painting. Am I being unreasonable to just throw it away? Partner seems to think we could sell it! I just want it gone as it’s giving me nightmares just looking at it.

Contact the previous owners and offer them ot back...its gone if they say no thanks it is yours to dispose off. If you sell it give the money to charity so good comes from the sale. Good Karma!

Unfortunately, this is a painting of someone feeling traumatic about something. I have many friends who paint these type of pictures all the time.

It's no worse than some of Goya's work and that's in El Prado!
