To throw away this painting - with pic

Bought a lovely Victorian flat with my partner however the previous occupant left this truly awful painting. Am I being unreasonable to just throw it away? Partner seems to think we could sell it! I just want it gone as it’s giving me nightmares just looking at it.

It is truly horrible, but have it valued and if it's worth something have it auctioned. If it not valuable give it to one of the posters on here who like it.
Do a cleansing after it is gone, if you believe in such things, it should put your mind at rest.

Did you upset the previous owners by getting money off the house sale as I think that has been left on purpose as a piss take. Put it in the garage u TIL your next car boot sale.

The previous owner never went to Norway, that's them trapped in the painting. Good job you didn't try to burn it or you'd be in there too.

Put it on an ebay auction with a low starting price, someone will love it. Just make sure that you have costed the packing & delivery charges correctly first.

I would keep it for Halloween every year if the loft is big enough to store it.

There are bodies buried under the patio. And body parts in the wall cavities.

The family of anyone who sells that painting will be cursed for 100 years. Which is slightly better than the family of anyone who burn it, who will be damned for eternity.

The only way to save your soul is to give the painting to someone else who freely accepts it... and takes the curse from you as a result.

I’d drop it with the estate agent or solicitor and ask them to forward it to the seller.

Do you have carpets? If so I’d recommend looking underneath them to see if there’s a pentacle / portal to the underworld. Norway my arse.

A bit of a weird picture but you could try selling it then donate the proceeds to charity or if it doesn't sell you could ask a couple of charities if they'd like it.
