AIBU to think that Thornton’s Continental are...

the nicest chocolates ever?
I’ve had Hotel Chocolat, Chococo, Lily O Brian’s, Booja Booja, Green and Black’s, Prestat etc... for Mother’s Day in the past and really don’t like many of the flavours.
Am I just common as muck or does anyone else feel the same?

I love them but I don't know what they have done with the Viennese truffles. They are the best chocolates ever.

Thorntons lemon meringue chocolates are amazing, gutted when our thorntons pick & mix shop closed.

I was given two boxes for my birthday and not a single Viennese truffle was found. There was something else Viennese, a medley maybe?
It was incredibly disappointing.

I really don’t like Thornton’s chocolate, sorry!! I’m not snobby in the slightest, I just don’t like the taste.

Hotel chocolat are my fave. Or good old Milk Tray

They used to be lovely, now they're so sugary they hurt my teeth. It's not nice chocolate any more.

I'd much rather have Hotel Chocolat.

I like Classic better.
But I did love the lemon mousse ones (sicilian) and the older style lily O'brien dessert chocolates.

Thornton's chocolates are and always have been rubbish. To the point that I don't bother eating them, which is a rare claim to fame.

I’m on Thornton’s on-line...
Irritated to discover that they now include bloody salted caramel chocolates.
All the favourites are available in bags though. 😍

Must admit the desert range is nice! We bought some at the Waitrose M6 service station not too long ago!

Ghastly pure sugar and they all taste the same with that cheap nutty palm fat ganache urgh. *

Not being snobby as I used to eat them but either they've changed or my taste has changed.

I've never liked Thornton's or Hotel Chocolat. I either have Cadbury's if I want something cheap or Artisan du chocolat for a special occasion.

We have a box in the cupboard. I was diagnosed with diabetes just before Christmas so they never came out Sad.
