Once upon a time I would have agreed but these rules are killing people outside of Covid, mental health and economically. They are flexing their totalitarian muscles to such an extent the rules don’t even make sense. I am so glad doctors including NHS ones are speaking on twitter, some are getting censored. 2020 has shown me how people following the rules done what they done in Germany decades ago.. the tide is turning and we sleepwalking into a crisis that is so imaginable. I am so glad that many are fighting back, taking the government to court, MP speaking out. The amount of people that will die due to non Covid deaths and what will happen to generation of children many will look back and wish they hadn’t followed these non sensical rules.

The tiers of lockdown are a massive face that don't go nearly far enough.

Everybody is weary. The virus doesn't give a damn. A healthy - as in super healthy 33 year old healthy and fitness blogger died. Yes our economy is screwed way beyond what I can even imagine. I'm highly worried about that and the impact a crashed economy will have, particularly as we fucking crash out of the EU without a deal.

I'm not sure what sticking two fingers up to the government about tier 3 restrictions is going to do to help anything. This bloody virus is about to go super speed through our population this winter, regardless of which tier we are in because the restrictions are bullshit.

Does that include Dominic Cummings? He flouted the rules, WITH COVID near the beginning (well the beginning was in Jan while gov were asleep at the wheel). The public were a lot more on board before then. At least when that SNP MP flouted the rules she was kicked out of the party (and hopefully will be prosecuted) nothing happened to DC Boris defended him, DC doesn't even have to pay his fucking council tax. This government treates us like mugs, and do you know what, we deserve it because we keep defending them.

I think you are quite able to say what you have done OP in your first post because you are quite selfish and covid won't affect you. You have no partner, no children and basically only have to think of yourself. It's a bit sad really when people pop up and say they won't follow the rules/guidelines and then fail to realise that they are part of the problem not part of the solution.

Carry on with your 'face not bothered' childishness but fortunately there are a lot of people out there that actually do care about others and are not selfish as you are.
