"Dementors" and anti dementors are just as bad as each other

I'm sick of seeing the self righteous "anti dementors" calling others dementors because they want to stick to the guidelines/social distancing/not licking walls.

If you don't believe we should all be totally back to normal yet then you're attacked as a dementor.

I think there's a middle ground of being sensible, taking precautions and being aware there is still risk. But the anti- dementor crowd think that's being hugely negative and living in fear.

I'm sick of it. Both extremes are as bad as each other.

I don't think it's decent leadership at all. I think she's making a stand about how special Scotland is and how they have to be different, and better (not their education or welfare tho eh) but at the same time asking to be propped up financially

If is obvious she gives not a shit about her people only about getting her point across.

It did me so much good at the beginning of lockdown, worried about job/kids etc but being made to feel that my kids mental health etc didn’t matter at all because people I don’t know were dying.

Of course that’s terribly sad and we all obey the rules to try to protect those people, but when you can’t see friends/family IRL to chat and process the things around you and the media are obsessed with corona death figures etc, it was so helpful to hear some sane, rational, sympathetic voices. Since I’ve gone back to work I haven’t looked there, but there was a time when I was feeling low that it really helped.

Different sides maybe but definitely for discussion and acceptance rather than obscenities shouting down the opposition
