And would you do anything if you could completely get away with it?! Mine is my daughter’s swimming teacher, he has the sexiest smile and is so good with the kids. Totally gives me the flutters but I’m guessing he’s not into overweight bespectacled women in their forties! Grin

Are they oblivious?

I wonder. My crush is strange. See him around, friendly at first, then distant. Knew some mutual friends so met him at a party and was very full on. Knew about a sport I do and let me know later he had taken it up. Offered to help me with a project which I said no to (why???????!!!)

Now seems to run away from if I ask how he is.

And is very sweet, actuallyHmm

PanicAtTheTesco · 24/02/2020 17:11

Yup. It's another kids' activity coordinator. I think there's something about a man who's good with kids, especially your kids, that makes your ovaries scream "good man to sire babies". I am so wary of being all "Young Man!" around the poor chap that I tend to go too far the other way, and am a bit stand-offish. But I have a lovely husband, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has too.

Bigblue20 · 24/02/2020 17:13

Yes, the ovaries do do a lot of talking.

romany4 · 24/02/2020 17:16

My son's geography teacher.
Black hair, blue eyes, Belfast accent.
I LOVE Parents evening

ComeOnGordon · 24/02/2020 17:17

Love having a crush - I have no interest in doing anything about mine even if he wasn’t married but he brightens up my day when I see him in the corridor at work. He’s so friendly with a big booming laugh. And tall (always a requirement). He’s my first crush in a really long time

chillychicken · 24/02/2020 17:22

My friends husband (who happens to be my DHs best friend) and it’s mutual. Discovered I had a crush on him this weekend completely out of the blue and he made it very clear he had a crush on me. We’ve known each other 15yrs. Massive head fuck.

Guy at the gym, 10yrs younger, absolutely gorgeous. A great fantasy Grin

wizzywig · 24/02/2020 17:28

Ive been trying to play it cool with my 'tom', god he is lush. Only email or phone when its justified, and only see him when theres a reason to. I literally become a teenager when he is around and i know i act like an idiot. No idea if he is single.

Bigblue20 · 24/02/2020 17:32

@chillychicken see, I have a theory. It’s them not us. They want a boost/like us/fancy us/are bored - take your pick and they kickstart it (somehow, I haven’t worked out how yet) and bewitch is into thinking we have initiated it or are responsible.

They are meddling with us, I’m sure if it.

chillychicken · 24/02/2020 20:26

@Bigblue20 I think you might be on to something there!

managedmis · 24/02/2020 20:30

Oh god yes loads. I work in a heavily male dominated industry.

Guy 1: tall, mid 50s, grey hair, glasses. Very sexy smiling blue eyes. I can't look at him without imagine him doing me really hard from behind Blush
Guy 2: The Boss. I recently saw a picture of him outside of work uniform as it were and he's got tattoos on his arms Shock very sexy
Guy 3: Also mid 50s. Brown eyes, full lips, scruffy hair. Delish.

Grin
Bigblue20 · 24/02/2020 20:34

@managedmis any job openings at your place? Grin

hannabarbera · 24/02/2020 20:52

Yes and it’s mutual. We sent the odd text to each other about running (our mutual hobby) and it can be flirty but stopped a few months ago. Started 4 yrs ago. Neither of us are single but often see each other around. Its that knowing smile and twinkle in the eyes. Last week i was in the supermarket and we spoke for about 20 mins, and when i was at the till he waited for me and we walked to the cars, and unbeknown then me i had parked next to him (work car). We spoke again. The chemistry is intense.

I know he is going through my Facebook photos as he liked an old profile photo 3 months ago. Last summer we were at a beer festival with our own friends and ended up queuing for pizza. We eventually sat together at my table and no one was the wiser that the feelings were there (if my friend had she definitely would have questioned it) and his mates joined.

Every time i see him i think i want to shag him.

Could be, @Bigblue20, could be Grin

MrsPerfect12 · 24/02/2020 21:09

Oooft my PT. I can't put my finger on it but there's something. Nothing will happen I'm married and he has a GF. I'll look tho 😂😂😂

Mehmehmeh19 · 24/02/2020 21:30

A contractor at work. I'd worked with him for ages without noticing my crush.

One day driving to work I remember thinking I can't wait to see Dave. When I saw him, it was an intense physical reaction to him I swear I could feel my ovaries fizzing!

I couldn't look at him without blushing.

His contract ended soon after.

It's so strange he wasn't my type at all. Objectively not good looking, but oh my! He did something to me.

KirstyHasLeft · 24/02/2020 21:51

Yes, a teacher at my kids' school.
She is just the most perfect woman I have ever met.
I am going through divorce now. And yes - I totally would if she would! :)
But I think she is married and straight :(

insideoutsider · 24/02/2020 21:52

Sigh.
A few years ago, travelled from the Midlands to do 'something very important' in the Houses of Parliament. There he was, tall, blond, wore a long coat... and a hat... looked mysterious and dark like in the movies. Then he showed me where to go... turned out he was coming to do something important in the very same room, in a far more powerful capacity. I've compared every man to him since then.

I dream of running into him at my local Tesco. And he has been looking for me ever since. I'll be waiting.

insideoutsider · 24/02/2020 21:53

Or Oti Mabuse.
For her, I think I might be Bi.

Bigblue20 · 24/02/2020 21:56

@insideroutsider

I love how you go from Parliament to Tesco. There's hope for me yet.

Minimamame · 24/02/2020 21:57

Yes my Dh’s friend and it’s mutual. I do my best to avoid being alone with him because the chemistry is unreal. He’s in a long term relationship and I’m friendly with her too so I would never act on it but god I dream about it a lot Blush

Bigblue20 · 24/02/2020 21:59

They're all in on it, I tell 'ya

Messing with our heads, hearts and hormones

SilverOtter · 24/02/2020 22:01

Yes! There's a guy on my course at uni who is probably a good 15 years younger than me.

I don't know what it is about him but he is just.so.goddamn.sexy🤤 Just thinking about him makes me tingle.

I turn into a gibbering, blushing moron every time he speaks to me. I am so ashamed of myself!!😭

SausageSimon · 24/02/2020 22:09

Mines my counsellor which is doubly painful because I can't act on it and who am I kidding he won't be attracted to the woman who comes in and cries about her shit life Grin

I make him laugh though and he once said something about liking seeing me on a Monday morning! I wonder if he knows Blush

We can be having a deadly serious conversation (as expected in counselling) and something dirty just pops into my head. He's exactly my type so if I'd have met him in any other situation I'd be feeling just the same but could've acted on it!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 24/02/2020 22:11

Yep. Could never breathe a word to anyone, it’s just too embarrassing. My god though, I can’t remember what I obsessed about before I became obsessed with him.

I have a recurring fantasy that he feels the same way. I’m sure he doesn’t, he’d probably run a mile in horror but he’s just so lovely and friendly. Tall, handsome, twinkly eyes, very clever and interesting to talk to. Talk about the fizzing ovaries.
