Amber Heard and Depp audio

MargeB · 02/02/2020 00:09

Am I the only one sickened by the latest audio of Amber admitting to physically assaulting Depp? Calling him a baby, her excuse being she gets 'so mad sometimes', and how hitting him in the face wasnt a punch because she didn't 'deck' him. Im sorry, she's vile.

And shame on all the MN posters over the past few years calling for Depp to be cancelled and how disgusted everyone was that he still had a career.

Those of us who tried to urge caution were shouted down as defenders of a wife beater. I hope those expressing their disgust have a long hard look at them selves, or better listen to the audio.

Shes trash, and to think Depps kids have been bullied on social media for sticking up for him, whilst he was being abused by that horrible woman.

'There are some big people and companies who owe Depp a proper public apologies. While at the same time I am awaiting some execs announcing that Heard will not be playing in movies/series by their productions?
Well, that will never happen though, is it...
#greattohavevajayjay 🤷'

I see this thread has been jumped on by MRAs. '#greattohageavajayjay'?! Grow up.

BelleSausage · 02/02/2020 09:46

That tape is very interesting.

If that is representative of their relationship then she is very, very controlling.

BelleSausage · 02/02/2020 09:47

Reverse the roles. Would you still think him the abuser?

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 09:49

I don't think that was the right video link but perhaps your referring to the one where he is smashing & kicking things after finding out he lost millions apparently. I don't think that video shows him being terrifying but angry & drunk yes.

I'm well aware of male hostility & violence having grown up with an alcoholic. I automatically believed her & didn't give it a second thought. Now I'm questioning my belief.

Johnny has his own bruised photos. You still haven't answered my question about the police though who turned up after the incident? I wonder what James Franco will say.

feelingverylazytoday · 02/02/2020 09:53

In actual real life, not theory, how much damage could a woman do?
WTF? My autistic daughter i s/was physically abusive, she has bitten, scratched punched, kicked me, head butted me numerous times, pulled me over by my hair and thrown things, including a butchers knife at me. I have been covered in bruises, had a couple of black eyes and a rib injury and a back injury that both took weeks to heal.
She is 5'1" inches tall and weighs less than 8 stone. I am taller, bigger and stronger than her. I can quite understand how a man can be injured by a woman if he is either unable or unwilling to defend himself.
Personally I don't believe anyone, male or female, by default.

AllergicToAMop · 02/02/2020 09:55

Odfod. I've seen what damage this "women just don't abuse man, are you crazy" and "well, he surely abused her too" attitude can do.
It's time to admit that sometimes women can be evil too

FizzyIce · 02/02/2020 09:58

I said all along they were probably just as bad as each other but some will always assume it’s all his fault

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 10:00

A well respected stylist who was working with Amber the morning after the attack has also said she say no evidence of any facial marks. The case is definitely not clear cut.

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 10:02

@doolallylala re the police - if you think that when it comes to DV issues police are fair and believing I'm afraid you're very naive. With the shine of a Hollywood celeb I'd expect they'd be worse. Never heard any reports of the police saying she wasn't attacked though.

I think that video was terrifying - I don't care what your excuse is you don't behave that way towards your wife.

Yet again sad but u surprised to hear the clucking was excuses of "maybe this" and "I think that" when it comes to Male violence

PlanDeRaccordement · 02/02/2020 10:03

It is not only the audio, but over fifty hours of CCTV footage of Amber Heard physically assaulting Depp over several months. Beards legal team had access to the same hundreds of thousands of hours of CCTV recordings from their home and could not even find one incident of him physically assaulting Amber. They even looked for the phone incident and it apparently there is no evidence it happened.

Amber claimed Depp threw a phone at her while they were at home which hit her in the face (place where CCTV was). But if you look at her photo of her bruises, they are in the wrong place and in wrong shape for a thrown phone to have done it according to forensic experts.

Ambers former girlfriend has testified she was physically a abusive.
Depps former wife has testified that he was never physically abusive.

I hope she faces charges for beating both Depp and her former girlfriend.

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 10:08

@PlanDeRaccordement where is this footage please? Over 50 hours - that's pretty compelling if it exists

And her ex girlfriend has consistently said she wasn't abusive. She said of the situation:

Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared 5 wonderful years together and remain close to this day.

In 2009, Amber was wrongfully accused for an incident that was misinterpreted and over-sensationalized by two individuals in a powerful position

'
I recount hints of misogynistic attitudes toward us which alter appeared to be homophobic when they found out we were domestic partners and not just "friends." Charges were quickly dropped and she was released moments later.

I can't quite believe how much crap people are literally making up here. Have we been invaded by MRAs today?

PlanDeRaccordement · 02/02/2020 10:12

A well respected stylist who was working with Amber the morning after the attack has also said she say no evidence of any facial marks.

That plus the incident supposedly taking place where they had CCTV and it not being found plus the photo she took of her bruised face with bruises that do not match the type of injury she claimed happened lead me to question it ever happened and perhaps Amber used eye shadow and make up to simulate bruises on her face. There are numerous YouTube makeup tutorials that show you how you can create a black eye or create bruises on your face with makeup.

PlanDeRaccordement · 02/02/2020 10:17

The footage was shown in court. It’s not been released to the public.

“According to law enforcement sources and documents, Amber and Tasya van Ree got in an argument on September 14, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm, which upset Tasya and triggered the arrest.

Amber was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence Her mug shot was taken and she appeared in court the following day.”

He has a history of being drunk and aggressive

And not all his ex’s lined up to defend him some stayed silent

I don’t think it proves his innocence at all and Hollywood will continue to employ someone despite of their reputation and spin a story if they really to obviously some choose not to despite him being a powerful man within the industry

PlanDeRaccordement · 02/02/2020 10:19

Lack of video evidence supporting the alleged phone incident and “bruises” to Ambers face
“Johnny’s attorney Adam Waldman told the publication: ‘Ms. Heard famously appeared in Court 6 days later with a battered-appearing face, seeking divorce and a temporary restraining order against Mr. Depp.’

In total, there are said to be 87 videos taken of Amber between May 21 to May 26 in 2016, and she interacted with multiple employees of the building, who have testified that they did not see any injuries on her.”

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 10:19

Never heard any reports of the police saying she wasn't attacked though.

Google it then.
https://theblast.com/c/johnny-depp-amber-heard-lawsuit-lapd-officers-testimony-abuse-defamation

I already quoted the police officer who attended the incident between Amber & her girlfriend up thread, she denied homophobia.

How come everyone is lying, except possibly Amber?

I mentioned upthread about Johnny's exes & some were saying it's not relevant. Ambers lawyers have asked for access to information about all his previous partners to look for evidence. Why are they trying to get the defamation dismissed?

I can't quite believe how much crap people are literally making up here.

Snap

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 10:21

The footage was shown in court. It’s not been released to the public.

No, it's allegedly been submitted to the court by Depp's attorneys but we've heard nothing more. On googling the only "CCTV" I can see that Depp claims is damning are of Heard in an elevator after he allegedly attacked, he's claiming the grainy footage shows no bruises 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm aware of the arrest with Heard's Ex, if you'd RTFT you'd see how both parties have repeatedly claimed there was no assault they were targeted by homophobic police officers. HTH - and please don't say things like "her ex testified she assaulted her" when you haven't done basic research it's very embarrassing when posters come on MN to lie

SoupDragon · 02/02/2020 10:22

Yet again sad but u surprised to hear the clucking was excuses of "maybe this" and "I think that" when it comes to Male violence

Nd yet again the response to female violence is "Oh, but men..." and "oh we've been invaded by MRAs..."

Here's a thought : both could have been abusive.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 10:22

you'd RTFT you'd see how both parties have repeatedly claimed there was no assault they were targeted by homophobic police officers.

By the gay cop who denied she was homophobic?

Who gets to decide who's telling the truth?

aroundtheworldyet · 02/02/2020 10:23

It sounds like a very toxic relationship all round.
I’m glad they’re both out of it.

But some of the people on here are crazy. Basically saying that men can’t be abused? Shame on that.

SoupDragon · 02/02/2020 10:23

Who gets to decide who's telling the truth?

Glummy

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 10:23

@doolallylala the two people who felt like they were victims of homophobia by an institution who are systematically homophobic.

I've already pointed out gay people can be homophobic

PlanDeRaccordement · 02/02/2020 10:24

Also, a lot of people think, “Oh, women hitting men. What, did she slap you on the shoulder? Hahahahahah.” Meanwhile, Depp nearly lost his finger. It’s not so much of a joke.

“The latest evidence came to light as Depp sued Heard for $50 million for defamation. The case has shown that Heard has in fact admitted to the abuse while being under oath.

Heard had alleged that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor had physically abused her during their marriage. The couple separated in 2016, when she filed for divorce and accused him of physically abusing her, but now he has filed a lawsuit against her, in which he alleges she punched him in the face and chopped off his finger.

The new pictures released show Depp’s face with a huge black bruise, and a haunting photo of his finger, half chopped off.

Depp also submitted 87 surveillance camera videos to the court, 17 depositions of witnesses (which includes police officers), and the images.

“Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse, she is a perpetrator,” the lawsuit says in reaction to Amber Heard penning an op-ed in The Washington Post back in 2018, which the lawsuit further says is nothing more than an "elaborate hoax," and that she also used those claims to further her career in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

“They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity for Ms Heard and advance her career,” the lawsuit says of the allegations against Depp’s violent behaviour, which his lawyers claim is the reason he is no longer a part of Disney's Pirates of The Caribbean franchise and reboot.

The lawsuit alleges incidents where Heard thew a bottle of vodka at Depp, which resulted in an injury to his hand requiring surgery, punching Depp as he was in bed, kicking him on numerous occasions, and even staging her own attacks.

"Unaware that members of Mr Depp's security team (including an 18-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department) were mere feet away, Ms Heard falsely began yelling, 'Stop hitting me, Johnny,'" the lawsuit states. "The interaction culminated with Ms Heard making false allegations that Mr Depp struck her with a cell phone, hit her and destroyed the penthouse. There were multiple eyewitnesses to this hoax."

There has been an outpouring of support for the actor with many apologising over social media for accusing him of abuse.”

KatyCarrCan · 02/02/2020 10:25

All your OP shows is how far we still have to go for people to understand EA and DV. You're gleefully jumping to conclusions on a clip released by Depp but ignoring the videos and other evidence that showed Depp being abusive.

It's like claiming he can't be abusive because Vanessa and Winona say he wasn't abusive to them. That's not how abuse works. They can only speak to their experience not Amber's or Kate Moss'. Although I notice no-one ever lists Kate Moss in the list of women who Depp dated previously. Is that because we know the police were called out when Depp was with Moss?

As a PP said, Depp has a history of abusive, violent behaviour and unpredictability not just with partners but with staff and on-set. But look at the people rushing to excuse him . . . because he's a man so everyone has to forgive them all the time. It's pathetic.
