Amber Heard and Depp audio

MargeB · 02/02/2020 00:09

Am I the only one sickened by the latest audio of Amber admitting to physically assaulting Depp? Calling him a baby, her excuse being she gets 'so mad sometimes', and how hitting him in the face wasnt a punch because she didn't 'deck' him. Im sorry, she's vile.

And shame on all the MN posters over the past few years calling for Depp to be cancelled and how disgusted everyone was that he still had a career.

Those of us who tried to urge caution were shouted down as defenders of a wife beater. I hope those expressing their disgust have a long hard look at them selves, or better listen to the audio.

Shes trash, and to think Depps kids have been bullied on social media for sticking up for him, whilst he was being abused by that horrible woman.

@doolallylala how is that relevant?

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 01:33

It was a description of the officer 🤦🏼‍♀️

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=11654224

Check your internalised homophobia. Say what now.

Also, maybe upgrade your reading matter.

So the Officer was lying on her own twitter account?

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 01:37

how is that relevant?

How is it relevant that a pp said that an altercation between AH & a precious girlfriend didn't happen because the arresting officer who is gay is in fact homophobic. Definitely not relevant.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 01:41

Can I ask for those who believe all women why are Winona Ryder's, Sherilyn Fenn, Vanesa Paradis opinions not valid?

differentnameforthis · 02/02/2020 01:42

So she can't call him a baby, but you can call her trash? Hmm

StillCoughingandLaughing · 02/02/2020 01:46

The pair of them always struck me as odd. Remember that hideous video after the incident with sneaking the dog through quarantine?

MolyHolyGuacamole · 02/02/2020 01:48

I heard her call him 'baby' not 'a baby'

HeadachesByTheDozen · 02/02/2020 01:51

@doolallylala The opinions/testimony of those women are theirs through their individual experience. Heard's is her truth, her individual experience. You are comparing opinion of people who were not IN the Depp-Heard relationship, to Heard herself, who WAS in the actual relationship. What the other 3 women think about Depp is not relevant to Heard's experience in her own relationship.

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 01:52

Gay people can still be homophobic the same way women can still be sexist.

GlummyMcGlummerson · 02/02/2020 01:53

Because abusers don't necessarily abuse every woman they've been with. Much like a rapist doesn't rape every woman he meets

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 01:54

I personally think it is relevant that they have stuck their heads above the parapet & publicly said they don't recognise that behaviour.

It doesn't mean she's lying but it's still relevant imo.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 01:59

Gay people can still be homophobic the same way women can still be sexist.

Who disagreed with that? But how is that relevant to my point?

The is the Officers quote, is she lying?

I'm not sure who of you leaked to TMZ my pics but I wanted to personally thank you for setting the record straight...pun intended. I am so not homophobic or mysoginistic! The arrest was made because an assault occurred (I witnessed it) and the parties were in a domestic relationship. PS...if you got paid, I want a cut.

1forAll74 · 02/02/2020 02:03

You can say this about loads of so called celebs. and so called famous people. Lots of them over the years, have gone to pot. and gone off the rails.

Lots of people admire Johnny Depp. and like the films he has done, but nobody really knows the real him, at home, nobody knows this wife he had.

I think that proper reality, goes out of the window for some people, when you become wealthy and so called famous.

OwlBeThere · 02/02/2020 02:08

How the hell is saying someone is ‘openly gay’ homophobic now?!
In the same tapes JD is heard Saying ‘I left last night. Honestly, I swear to you because I just couldn't take the idea of more physicality, more physical abuse on each other‘
Which seems to make it clear to me that BOTH of them were violent.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 02:14

Don't waste your time trying to reason with idiots. I should be offended as that poster knows absolutely nothing about my life & I was referencing what I read but like I said, idiot...

differentnameforthis · 02/02/2020 02:18

They are both as bad as each other anyway!

Their attitude when they smuggled their dogs in Australia pissed me off, like they were above having to follow rules for the good of the land they were visiting.

Ignorance at it's best.

7Days · 02/02/2020 02:25

Let's be honest.
Men are much stronger than women. That's just physiology. And theres nothing to suggest these particular
people are outside the norms for their se ex.
A woman hitting a man is abhorrent, wrong for obvious reasons.
Physically, she might land a bruise, or worse. But theres very few men who couldn't overpower a woman at that point, in self defence.

In actual real life, not theory, how much damage could a woman do? Ok shes a total shit if she did, I'm not defending a domestic abuser.
But flip the tables. A man hits a woman. In reality theres not an awful lot she can do. Its a rare woman who can grab a mans wrists and hold him back. It's a rare man who cant.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 02:38

In 2016 Amber withdrew her allegations & they settled out of court & issued a joint statement which glossed over any abuse.

In 2019 JD launched legal action after her Washington Post article. Apparently his motive is to clear his name, a risky move.

itwaseverthus · 02/02/2020 02:41

Just listened to the tape. She is absolutely deranged. A prime reason I don't automatically always believe the women, just because she is a woman.

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 02:49

Why did the police officers who were called to the house say they did not see any injuries on her face? Because they want to be Edward Scissorhands or Jack Sparrow when they grow up?

TheSerenDipitY · 02/02/2020 02:56

GlummyMcGlummerson
If by "string" you are referring to the ex girlfriend who simply argued with Heard in an airport which lead to Heard's arrest, then you're barking up the wrong tree - it was clearly a homophobic act on the part of the police, there was no violence, both women have said so many times

posterdoolallylala
I read the cop was openly a lesbian?

i thought the cop comment was in response to above? not saying it just for fun?

doolallylala · 02/02/2020 03:30

Wow I just listened to the whole tape. Obviously everyone's experiences of dv is different but Amber on the tape & her fears that Johnny might kill her seem quite far apart.

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 02/02/2020 05:05

I doubt if either of them actually remembers having this conversation.

However, one drunken/stoned recorded phonecall does not negate any physical abuse she suffered so please save your shaming for those who deserve it OP.

They were both clearly troubled.

Tinkerbell456 · 02/02/2020 05:21

Listened to the audio. I have to say that Amber does sound a bit bonkers really and Jonny sounds well, stoned and troubled, but certainly not aggressive at all. Doesn’t mean to say that they haven’t both done horrible things in other incidents though. It sounds like the relationship was Hell! Two people who just needed to be nowhere near each other.
