I am waiting with interest to find out what happens next, following on from this afternoon's talks at Sandringham.

Poor old Queen. She can't have finished the leftover turkey yet and here she is, embroiled in another crisis.

How much have you read PattiPrice we're 949 posts in.

Just admit you're here for the Brew

They also have more opened minded people who don’t delight in crushing people in the name of fun and gossip.

They made the right choice in leaving the cesspit!

NotEverythingIsBlackandwhite · 14/01/2020 01:01

Why on earth does he live there?

I read an article in the DM about him having had a new kitchen installed at Wood Farm "in the house where she and Prince Philip feel, and behave like normal people."

Bouledeneige · 14/01/2020 01:02

I don't think they want a completely quiet life free from publicity, fishing and chopping wood. They just want unquestioning publicity and adulation and to pontificate on various issues like hollywood A listers without being pulled up for hypocrisy (though I'm not sure what qualifications either have as experts on such issues - TV actress and a little bit thick ex army polo player). But even the hollywood actors have actual jobs in between times.

At least it looks like the RF did some strong negotiating. No conference call and brand restrictions, some tough choices on money. Maybe that will help Harry understand the limits. Nevertheless I wish him well and hope his mental health doesn't take a dive cut off from all his old friends and family, reliant on MM in a foreign land, doing more meaningless crap for a job but in a foreign land. And if she does dump him - he will be so torn and an even worse - how will he be a father to his child and return to the UK?

AlexaAmbidextra · 14/01/2020 01:03

Feel sorry for Phillip??
The racist who has had a string of affairs?

Karencantobe. You are obsessed with affairs. First William and now Prince Philip. Do you have an unfaithful husband?

AlexaAmbidextra · 14/01/2020 01:06

And I am loving the comments from Doria about the importance of being true to yourself, from the mother who left her teenage daughter in the sole care of her father for years so she could find herself.

Careful. I said exactly that and got deleted. 🤷‍♀️

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 14/01/2020 01:11

Patti, nothing posted here on MN - which pull threads by the dozen -, is even close to the level of crap posted on different social media sites including, ironically, Instagram their media of choice.

Guess what? Relocating won't stop people giving their opinion on SM, because SM is global and the Sussexes want to be even more famous. in any case. They have to be if they want to 'provide the solutions the world needs most' So leaving the 'cesspit' will achieve nothing.

TheMustressMhor · 14/01/2020 01:13

Actually, we're 3,949 posts in, as this is (unbelievably) thread number four.

I think there's something quite admirable about PP living at Wood Farm.

From what I've read he likes the "stripped down" lifestyle there, devoid of a plethora of staff, fuss, drama and huge "impractical" palaces.

Apparently, he's well cared for (obviously) and enjoys his hobbies whilst friends and family visit him daily - so he's not lacking for company, rather just enjoying a peaceful retirement away from royal life.

Maybe there's a lesson there for H&M?

@Teddy1970

The MM superfan who started the William affair rumour has admitted she did started it to make H & M look good and bring down the Cambridges, she got prosecuted for it.
Do you have a link to the source of that information?

StartupRepair · 14/01/2020 01:19

Harry touting for work for Meghan on the red carpet was desperate and embarrassing. I think he was too scared to go home not having said it.

Moomin8 · 14/01/2020 01:20

From various sources I have heard that William is far from the family man his reputation demands him to be perceived as.

Bouledeneige · 14/01/2020 01:20

DeRigueurMortis H&M tried the quiet life living in the Windsor Estate and hated it. It was one of their first miscalculations. M would probably have been much happier living in London. Diana liked taking the kids out to MaccieD's and the cinema and slipping out into the High Street. There ain't much to do in Windsor Great Park or on deserted island outside Vancouver.

Then why did they not take up rooms in Kensington Palace, where many royal cousins as well as W&K live?

SunsetBoulevard3 · 14/01/2020 01:26

@Moomin8
What do you mean?

Fraggot · 14/01/2020 01:27

Interesting caption. Great shoes.

Harry and Meghan Resigning (Act 3 Scene 2)
NumbersStation · 14/01/2020 01:30

Where was that? Is someone being a bit naughty in the caption department?

HeadLikeAFuckinOrange · 14/01/2020 01:33

Exactly. And even if she disagreed with MM & PH's choice, I think she knows better than to actually say so. People who say "No" to MM tend to be left by the wayside.

Hearhoovesthinkzebras · 14/01/2020 01:33

I really feel that a big part of it is M not liking playing 2nd fiddle to W and K and this is what happens on state occasions due to.protocol. Every time the family is on the balcony at BP W and K and the children are in the front row and M and H are at the back. At the Royal Festival Hall M and H were right at the back of the Royal Box. I really can't imagine M accepting this. She seems to be happiest when the focus is on her. I'm sure it was a big shock to realise that rather than landing the leading lady role she'd actually got one of the supporting roles. No doubt that's behind the move - she'll be the only Duchess in Hollywood/Toronto/the Oprah show won't she, so all eyes will be on her.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 14/01/2020 01:39

@Hearhoovesthinkzebras
My thoughts exactly. I thought she looked very put out during the Remembrance Day service when Kate and Camilla were In a box with HM but she was stuck with a minor player. She just cannot play second fiddle.

Nerfballs · 14/01/2020 01:44

I would have thought building a global empire to benefit oneself using titles and stolen resources would be very British actually. Love how you're all so outraged. Ain't karma a bitch. Cheers from the Colonies, enjoy.

Fraggot · 14/01/2020 01:45

@NumbersStation shared on Twitter, allegedly from a Toronto newspaper.
