What the fuck are these young women doing to their lips?

Saw a girl in Lidl today who clearly had naturally thin lips. Had a huge fillet in her top lip. All it looks like is someone with a huge filler, not someone with lovely generous lips, see it all the time and it looks horrific.

What happens when they hit 40?

How much does it cost?

Why are we all injecting shit into our faces?

Why do you care? Women can do whatever they want to their bodies. If you don’t like it fine, don’t have fillers.

I am sick of women being dragged down because of how they choose to look.

YANBU. I'm 25 and know loads of people that have had fillers. Someone I used to be friends with kept getting more and more put in and they were actually obscene how big they ended up. I've never seen anyone have them done and look good IMHO.

I’m just watching country file and can’t take my eyes off the presenters horrendous lip fillers.

I don’t get it, but I have naturally big lips and I love them, so if I had thin lips then maybe I’d want to put filler in?

My friend in her early 40's had lip fillers last year. She says they make her feel good. I think it looks like someone has given her a fat lip, but I'd never say that to her. She's happy.

They look terrible.

I hate over-filled lips, some people have so much filler their lips are practically inside out.

If they are noticeable then surely you have gone too far?

I think they get loads put in, and on the cheap - if it's good work you shouldn't be able to tell, it should look natural.

My always small top lip has disappeared now I'm mid 30s - it's literally gone! I'm having it put back the way it was in the new year. Mother Nature can bog right off - I'm going to go get my lip back! (And NOT on the cheap.)

@rickandmorts but the majority of people that have fillers are women. So it’s perfectly reasonable to extrapolate from your comment your talking about a number of women.

@Twinklelikethechristmastree they're fairly cheap if you go to someone unqualified who buys the filler online. My friend used to go to someone's house who was in no way trained to do them 😱

Fillers dissolve, so if she doesn’t get them topped up, they’ll be gone in 9-12 months.

Bloody hell @rickandmorts. How did she think that was a good idea?! How did they look?!

Because the whole reason they are getting fillers is pressure from SM about how they look?

They truly are hideous and look stupid. On everyone that has them.

Of course they don’t. Plastic surgery has been around long beforehand SM. Yes fillers have become more prevalent, but it’s not affecting you in any way, shape or form. Just let people live their lives ffs.

If anybody needs to see the harsh reality of what fillers do then look at Lauren Goodger. She was so pretty before, now she's on the Jocelyn Wildenstein path.

Lip fillers pretty much always look awful. I will never forget being served by a waitress in a restaurant who looked as though she'd had a terrible allergic reaction. She'd obviously had lip fillers were that very swollen and shiny, they looked like comedy inflatable lips stuck to her face. It was impossible not to stare. She looked ridiculous.

She was only young and would have no doubt looked much better without them.
