The trouble with all this labelling, is you end up looking like a right twat. Take, for example, my ‘vegan’ sister.....who isn’t actually vegan, just prefers vegetarian food but sometimes likes a scone with butter or a bacon roll. By telling everyone she is a vegan she makes herself look like a right twit, whereas if she just quietly ordered the veggie/vegan option no-one would turn a hair, as we all do it. I regularly eat vegan meals, but wouldn’t declare myself a vegan, as I’m not. It’s the same with these poor fools who wake up one day and decide they are women (not, as someone astutely noted the other day, menopausal women running around working full time and looking after elderly relatives/demanding teenagers) or that they are only attracted to asparagus and have to make A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT. One day they may wake up and find themselves attracted to nectarines or really thick but beautiful people with lovely legs....but they’ve painted themselves into a corner and now need a fuckton of therapy to make peace with the notion that they like stupid people with nice arses.

The world is insane and we all need something else to focus on. How about climate change? That seems to me more significant than some idiots fretting about whether they prefer to fuck Nobel Prize winners or vacuous pretties.
