I have a 32inch tv in living room,my friend said it's far too small for living room.
Is it? What size tv does everyone else have ?

The irony of some people on here, slagging off the OP's friend, but then saying 'a big tv is tacky and chavvy' and 'why would you want a TV to dominate the room?'

So what if people have a big TV, and the main focus of a room is the TV? Some people are crazy about films, netflix, and TV in general, and also playing video games. Nothing wrong with having a big TV if that's what people want.

Some really unpleasant, rude, judgemental posters on here. Slagging off others, but then sneering, and looking down their nose at people who like different things to them.

Maybe the people who don't want a big TV have a cheap and pokey little house. Wink

See, we can all be catty can't we? Hmm

It depends on the size of your living room and what else is in it. In our flat with a huge square living room our 40 inch was just big enough. It was also the focal point of the room. Now in our small cottage living room with a fireplace it looks massive.

We have a 40" tv in our front room but hoping to downsize to a 28" or smaller. I can't stand ridiculously big screens.

I would hate a huge TV and your friend sounds like a moron.

I have a 32,which is a bit small for the room. But it fitted the living room it was bought for. I'd never feel embarrassed about it though. I'm just not bothered enough to replace it.
If you have a want to feel better about yours, plenty of people are snobby about large TVs, so they will probably approve of yours.

It's either 37 or 42", I don't remember. I can afford a ginormous TV, but I can't stand them!

Depends on the size of the room. I'd ould have gone for 42" but my bf insisted on 32" so we got that one. I'd still say min 40" unless there is really good sale on the 32" that it make a zero sense to get a bigger one.

We had 27 inch until my Pil gave us their old 32 inch TV last year.

We have a 3.5×3.5m lounge so it's absolutely fine for the size of our room. We don't watch it very often in there

In our back room we have a 21inch TV on the wall we watch every day

I had a 32 inch tv and felt it was ok but decided to get a bigger one. I got a 43 inch and prefer it alot more, cant even imagine going any smaller again.
