To ask how much you pay in rent each month?

Just out of simple curiosity really, and to see how our rent compares with other parts of the country.

I’ll go first. We pay £700 a month for a privately rented three bedroom flat in East Anglia. That’s actually relatively cheap for a three bed (most go for around £800/£900 here) but that’s probably because the third bedroom is tiny.

£1400 for a 3 bed in west London. The 3rd room is tiny! Just fits a cot! It’s very cheap for this area.. normally would be £1600-1700

We don’t rent any more but our last rented place was a one bed flat for £900 a month and that was cheap, in Hertfordshire.

Just about to move into a 2 bed maisonette with sea views near Cardiff for £675 pcm

£925 3-bed privately rented (just) within ring road of York

£680 per month. 3 bed semi in a very expensive and very desirable part of Leeds.

We pay massively under market value however, the rent should be about £1k but I know the landlord personally and he's happy to let me have it for less.

430 a month for 1 bed council flat in London, I've been there 20 years

765 for two bed bungalow in Hampshire

£1,095 a month in a very naice Cambridgeshire village. 4 bedroom detached.

£450 for 2 bed Victorian cottage in North Notts. Includes water rates & grass cutting,

£1100 for a small one bed, no balcony, garden or parking space

1400 for a 4 bed. South East and that's classed as cheap... We are thinking of moving out of the area because the rent is killing us. We have 4 kids in 3 rooms and the 4th is an office as i work from home.

600 pcm 3 bed new build house on new estate in north east England. That's actually quite expensive for round here but we are in a nice area.

i pay nothing as its covered by HB

but the rent is £500 for a big 3 bed in south wales valleys

Sorry i meant kids in 2 rooms and we are in one and one is an office. We have 2 boys and 2 girls

£395 for a two bedroom cottage in a gorgeous seaside town in Northumberland.

Canterbury area

£725pcm for two bedroom flat (bathroom, en suite, separate dining area and kitchen)

We alps get use of a private gym.

£540 for a four bed spacious council flat in SE London.

2000 2 bed London

We last paid rent in 2014 - £1000 for a damp three bed semi with woodchip paper. Our next door neighbours (identical house) are paying £1600 for a 3/4 bed (using dining room as no 4) Victorian semi. Our mortgage payments are less than half that.

£350 a month but if we rented from another landlord we’d be paying double for a smaller property
We have a 3 bed in the midlands-my in laws are our landlord
We priced up one bed flats and they where about double what we pay them

1300 2 bed apartment up North

£1800 SE London 3bed.

I know i am on to a good thing here !
£320 two bed ( both decent size doubles ) but a tiny kitchen and back yard big enough for a small hutch , and two sun loungers and sod else all . A through lounge that's about 25 foot long .
