To be annoyed at woman from DofE car crash?

Whatever we think about Prince Phillip and his driving, the accident happened and two ladies were unfortunately hurt.

However, I am watching This Morning and getting some level of rage about the clear compo grabbing attitude of this lady! Crashes happen every day and she has no need to be splashed across every news paper and programme because she wants an apology!

The Royal Family have even said they have tried to be in touch but not getting a response. What does she want?!

Lulu was defrauded by Emma Fairweather. She was very surprised to see the woman on television talking about the car accident because she recognised her. She came on here and told us about it, some of us said maybe the newspapers will pick up on it because they often print stuff from Mumsnet. So far that hasn't happened.

Emma Fairweather has a broken wrist and that hurts but, honestly, even if she'd had two broken legs and been carted off on a stretcher, the police would have told her and the Duke not to communicate but to leave it to the insurance people.If one party runs over to the other saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!", it is admitting liability.

The Duke did ask straight away if the people in the other car were alright but the police made sure he stayed by his car.

Both had to be taken to hospital.

If the Duke is found to be guilty of causing this accident, he will be fined.

The insurance will pay out.

After that someone might get an apology. A spokesperson from the palace has been in touch with E.F.

I honestly don't know what else she expects but as she has been on TV (which I haven't seen), she'll have been paid for that.

Lulu is very precious to me, so kind of hard to read the BS comments but this is an anonymous forum so 🤷‍♀️

I can confirm Lulu is not in the tower although having seen the beefeaters quarters there she might be tempted to volunteer for tower imprisonment.

Unfortunately it isn't lies just weird Karma maybe the lunar eclipse???? If they don't publish I'd Obviously I'd like to drag Emma's name through the gutter, although she's kind of done that herself but that will be Lulu's decision not mine.

I agree as said above - if Lulu has an ongoing case against EF then she may not be advised to go public .

Or ...if it is going public then she'll have to name change ( and won't be able to say she has ) so it will seem as if she's disappeared .

I emailed this press agency this afternoon, asked what was happened they said busy week with news and the Sun were still planning to run with it, Friday or the weekend.....

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they ran it in the Sun on Sunday. They tend to keep what they would term as a "juicy" story for the Sunday paper. No disrespect for the traumas you've been through with this woman Lulu but in their eyes it may be juicy/scandalous.
