Does anyone else have 'the chair' in their bedroom?

You know, the chair? The chair where worn but not ready to go in the wash clothes go because it feels weird hanging them back up if they're not clean?

Then the pile of clothes gets so big you can no longer see the chair. Then when you crack and de-clothe the chair you find things you'd totally forgotten about?

Or is this just me? Am I the only slovenly one?

Yes I have the chair. All bedrooms need that chair.

Of course! We have the chair which is the rocking chair I fed DD in. And the footstool in another corner. Oh and the spare dining chair from the kitchen. Lots of room for the half clean clothes.

It's a shame to because it is a very beautiful and rare Jacobian styled chair I found at an antique store a long time ago! Now, it has my work out clothes and underthings that need to go into tonights wash.

Ah yes, the chair in the bedroom. Repository for everything at the moment - in fact the pile is currently so high, you have to slide your hand behind it to reach the light switch.

I have a cuddler chair and a wooden chest, every time I empty them it just takes a couple of days and new items seem to breed!

No room for a chair. We have a hook each on the wall for this purpose.

I have a brass bed, so they hang off the end of that.

I also have a floordrobe

I have the chair and a piano stool. One of my cats enjoys a slumber on top of the many discarded clothes on either seat. I have found many a surprise garment that i'd forgotton existed!

We have a cane sofa - like what posh folk have in their conservatory. I had ideas it was going to be the big reading chair for me and DS. It houses washing. And the cat finds the top to be a useful cat shelf where she can snooze.

We have these chairs all over the house!

Haha we live on a 57' narrowboat and I got DP to put extra hooks up as I was fed up with half clean piles of clothes on bed, front step and floor. Hooks full and still have stuff on bed .

We have the chair too. As do both the DC. When we have extra guests for dinner, we have to put the clothes somewhere else so the chair can be used for the purpose it was designed for 😁

DH has 'the chair' drives me mad!

DH having a chair and not the floordrobe possibly saved our marriage. All good Until he clears the chair and puts it all in the wash, then back to divorce/murder.

I have The Chair AND the hooks on the back of the door. And also a spare chair (supposedly for my dressing table but it's home to a few bits and the odd towel)

Reading the title I imagined it was a chair for ahem... recreational activities...

I have no chair, but because my DP doesn't live with me I have a whole half of a double bed to dump my crap on.

I have a pouffe at the end of the bed, it never gets bogged down in clothes though as my husband likes to Chuck his clothes on it and I subsequently like to chuck them in thr laundry basket.

I have the chair. My cat loves to curl up and sleep on top of all the clean-ish clothes. It totally ruins my system
