What is the ultimate Jacket Potato filling?

My pregnancy craving is jacket potatoes! I can't stop

My absolute favourite is butter, tuna and cheese.
Sometimes I add beans to this too, hot or cold ones. Or just beans and cheese, or cheese and red onion.
Then there's beans and cheese..
Veggie chilli and sour cream..

The potato has to be slightly mashed with a fork in the middle and then covered in butter before any toppings are added.

Also, I went to a cafe today who didn't pre butter and gave me butter in a little pot - how on earth do you add butter to an already filled potato!?

Butter and Raclette cheese. Heaven!

Skin must be crispy and inner all fluffy. Butter, grated mature cheddar, finely diced onion, Heinz baked beans with a bit of vinegar added to them, more cheese, finished with a generous dollop of coleslaw. OR, butter, grated mature cheddar, my homemade veggie chili, more cheese, lime crema and jalapeños. Both are beyond heavenly.

Same as C00lio, beans and coleslaw.

Mines a slow cooked potato with a good crispy skin smothered with either
Chilli con carne and cheese
Tuna, sweetcorn and mayo
Lots of cheese and beans
Chicken tikka is also good too

Jacket potato with crispy outside, inside fluffed up with loads of salted butter, and then a generous portion of Mexicana cheese grated on. Quick blast in a house oven to melt the cheese. Lush.

Cheese, coleslaw & mint sauce! Yum, unfortunately can no longer have potatoes, as any high carb foods make me pile on the pounds :(

Jacket potatoes were my ultimate pregnancy craving. The cafe up the road from work would have one waiting for me at 12:15 every day once they twigged I was coming in day after day.
Triple cheese and triple coleslaw. Beans on the side just in case I fancied them.

Now I'm making jacket potatoes for dinner tomorrow!

My recipe is potatoes in the oven until cooked then cut them in half and scoop the insides into a dish. Empty shells go back into the oven to get even crispier. The scooped out potato gets mashed up with a pot of sour cream, salt, pepper, and grated cheese. This gets put back into the shells, more grated cheese goes on top, it all goes back into the oven until the cheese is melted. Served with crunchy side salad and a huge spoonful or three of coleslaw.

Mince in Campbell's condensed tomato soup with a sprinkling of cheese on the top, yum!

Big chunks of corned beef then topped with baked beans. Yum Yum 😋

Chopped mushrooms, onions and olives wilted with spinach with a bit of nutmeg mashed in with a ton of feta cheese and bubbled under the grill.

Or those grilled red peppers in jars with artichoke hearts from jars all smoshed with a ton of hard sheeps cheese.

Or grilled tomatoes and chilli pesto.

It's a toss up between butter, baked beans and cheese or veggie chilli, sour cream and cheese.

I make 'fancy', spicy baked beans. Recipe is never quite the same but usually involves diced onions, garlic and peppers fried, maybe courgette and/or mushrooms too, and some spices, with beans added and fried a bit once everything else has softened (maybe with some hot sauce stirred through). I like it really spicy with a dollop of sour cream on the top.

My craving was potatoes too!

2. Chicken and mushrooms in bechamel sauce with a hint of white wine and cheese in the sauce.
3. Lots of grated cheddar with pickle and pineapple chunks.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the OP. I had the MOST delicious dinner of Jacket Potatoes (Yes, 2) buttery, salty, cheesy, crispy skinned, melt-in-the-mouth fluffy things they were. They made me very happy indeed.

(Accepts I may need to get out more).

Butter and Philadelphia (full fat obvs)

Tesco taco mixed beans with lashings of grated cheese. Cheddar, red Leicester and mozzarella. Grill to brown the cheese. Food heaven.

A shit ton of butter with salt and pepper. Nothing more, nothing less.
