DH cuddling and kissing his DM

Yesterday my DH was sat on the sofa with his DM cuddling her and kissing her on the head. this has made me feel a bit sick and has put me off him. I’m all for affection but sitting on the sofa cuddling your mum all afternoon is surely a bit much.

Every relationship is different. I wouldn't mind a hug and a kiss in the cheek or forehead. But yes cuddling all afternoon?! He's your husband though. Has this not happened before? You must have realised they had a close relationship

Depends a bit on how often he sees her and if he thinks he might have have very few years left with his mum.

But yes, if he sat with his arm around her constantly and was kissing her head frequently then I’d think it odd. MH a bit fragile at the moment, possibly?

My DH will always have a little cuddle with his Mum when we see her (every 3/4 months). He’ll give her a kiss on ge cheek too. It feels a bit bizarre to me as my family aren’t very tactile but I really really hope my sons will still give me a cuddle when they’re grown.

Hehe, I also thought of Sam Faiers' dp cuddling and kissing his mum. My ex dp was also an extreme mummy's boy and would buy her little gifts every time he went anywhere (among other things). It was a bit odd and did make me feel a bit like I had to compete. I don't envy you OP.
