As I am lost in an fog of confusion! So many cars! Which car do you drive? Would you recommend it? I have 4 dcs but the eldest is an adult at uni and two others are teens. Any suggestions?

Mine is a Fiat Panda with no street cred but we love it. It would be a bit small for you though.

Knowivedonewrong · 17/12/2018 19:01

Ford Kuga. Need it for the dogs.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 17/12/2018 19:01

My 4 are the same age as yours. I drive a Seat Alhambra which is great for that number, but the very back row of seats don'tove forward or back. I think I'll go back to a Galaxy as I think the extra leg space available because of the movable seats in the back row will benefit as the two smallest grow length.

Evergreentree · 17/12/2018 19:01

Yes it prob would be a bit small for us.

Jaguar F-Pace.

Dotty1970 · 17/12/2018 19:02

Now I have a BMW.... aka shit cars with shit drivers (obviously I'm not included).
I would recommend anything japanese.

Evergreentree · 17/12/2018 19:02

I’ve been looking at the Galaxy. So you’d recommend that?

Ford Mustang. And yes when I’m feeling particularly cruel I make the kids get in the back seats Grin

I shall never say it front of the missus but it’s as practical as a chocolate teapot..... sounds awesome though.

Shesellsseashellsontheseashore · 17/12/2018 19:06

5 door Mini Cooper. I love it. I've got 2 small children so it's fine for us. Not sure for teens but then it's quite roomy inside as it's a new model.

Bluearsedfly36 · 17/12/2018 19:08

A Vauxhall Zafira, the 7 seats can come in very handy and a good boot space when the seats are down.

SymphonyofShadows · 17/12/2018 19:11

Octavia Estate. I love it as I can get amazing amounts in it. I’ve even slept in it with the back seats down. We also have a Mitsubishi Outlander that’s like a tank.

luanmapo · 17/12/2018 19:11

2018 BMW Gran Tourer. I have 4 children too (inc 3 teenagers) and this is my second one of this vehicle type. I Love it so much.

A 7 seater from BMW which is £25k cheaper than the X5. (Got £12k discount from dealer also).

I have never in the 4 years since having a BMW had any issues with it whatsoever. It is economical and roomy! I used to have an Smax before this and it was plagued with problems!....

I am not a stereotypical BMW driver!

Lettermethis · 17/12/2018 19:12

Ford Fiesta Ecoboost.

GREAT car. But teeny.

Justwanttotravel · 17/12/2018 19:12

Citroen cactus. Cheap and roomy.

RayRayBidet · 17/12/2018 19:13

Audi A4. Its not great. Especially because it is all boot and bonnet and the back seat has hardly any legroom. It's a company car so stuck with the shitty bastard for at least another year.
We had a Hyundai ix35 before which I adored.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/12/2018 19:13

Limited edition Mini Cooper.
It wouldn't work for your family but I love it.

Aragog · 17/12/2018 19:14

I have an Abarth 595 - a bit small but fast and fun. About to be traded in for a new car in March - electric Smart fort - even smaller, but better for the economy.

Dh/family car is a Discovery.

Sugarplumfairy65 · 17/12/2018 19:15

Volvo xc60. Very roomy and a good dive, but only 5 seats

thenightsky · 17/12/2018 19:16

Subaru impeza. Old style 07 plate. Kids grown up so don't need loads of seats.

When kids were little and there was lots of ferrying to do, I had a Toyota RAV4.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 17/12/2018 19:16

Mine is a 18 year old 7 seater mitsubishi space wagon

I would recommend them but i dont think they make them anymore Sad

Forzaitalia · 17/12/2018 19:20

I have a Skoda Fabia. Fab cars owned by Volkswagen so has a great spec. Sooo much cheaper than equivalents like Fiesta and Corsa etc. Won Which Best Car several times. Roomy and comfortable. Most importantly showroom staff are friendly and never pushy.

spinn · 17/12/2018 19:21

Citroen grand c4picasso.

Despite it being a Citroen, yeah i would recommend it. All seats are full size seats which is good for growing kids, middle row seats move forward independently allowing for more leg space for the back row.

We went through pretty much every mpv deciding. Finalists were renault grand scenic, Picasso and galaxy. I really wanted a Kia Sedona but they don't make them anymore😂

EarlyBird123 · 17/12/2018 19:22

Mine is Seat Leon. But then i have no children.

HildaZelda · 17/12/2018 19:23

BMW 5 series. I'm on my third beemer. I don't think I could ever go back now.

Lulutheboss · 17/12/2018 19:23

Mazda CX-5. Plenty of room and really nice to drive.
We had a galaxy before, which I definitely recommend. I had it for childminding. I don’t do that anymore so changed back to a five seater.
