It is very clear from the images included on the effigy ie people of colour, and the dialogue on the video referring to female Muslims that this was an act born out of racism.

That is disgusting! How sick in the head Do you have to be to do such a thing? The fire was such a tragic event with so many unnecessary losses of lives so for a bunch dickheads to mock is just so sick. Wonder how they'd feel if it's as their loved ones who perished.

They have posted a video intending to cause alarm or distress, that's a crime. Until they put it on SM, it wasn't.

Anyway, any public mocking of the Hillsborough disaster has meant life changed dramatically and unpleasantly for those doing it.

It’s abhorrent, but it’s not a crime nor will anyone ever be prosecuted, hopefully they will be publicly identified and their lives made a misery, but it’s not a crime and the police shouldn’t be wasting their time trying to find out who it is, the journalists however should be all over that investigation.

Can’t remember the place, but every year a place down south burns a topical effigy, it wasn’t a hate crime when they burned a Trump effigy and this isn’t a hate crime.

It’s probably done the surviving residents of grenfell and the families of the victims a favour. It’s put Grenfell back in the headlines when it was starting to disappear.

It is a vile, sick and disgusting thing to do. However some of the paper people were obviously white, so not a race or hate crime, but totally abhorrent. No law appears to have been broken, and as it appears to be in somebodies backgarden it really shouldnt be hard to find out who they are.
