I don't know how posters can say there is definitely no crime here when the police themselves have stated that they are investigating to see if any offences have been committed. There were clear racist comments made in the video.

Choco there was no real anti racist legislation either until the Race Relations Act of 1976 That doesnt mean there was no racism or racist hate crime before then.

Because the police are investigating to see if offences have been committed, it doesn't mean they have. It doesn't necessarily follow that a POA offence has been committed because they're in a fenced garden. I think the prosecution would struggle with the dwelling rule in this case

So good for you for coming on the slap HelenaDove on the wrist for daring to mention such a thing. However, many social housing tenants come from groups that are protected by hate crime legislation, so it's not exactly a giant leap is it?
