I know he isn’t/ wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but no getting away from fact he’s one of the most highly paid/ popular presenters on TV. I just can’t see how he can stand on SNT next weekend and be jovial after this. My moneys already on holly willoubhy being drafted to stand in next week.

Could have been any one of us injured.... maybe it was an MNer and her dd in the other car. I'd say it's all our business when it comes to drink/driving and the ongoing adoration of that person who committed the crime

I don't think he'll struggle much at all, his management team will be PR-ing the shit out of this as we speak. There'll be the repentant statement - "I did a stupid thing, I'm utterly apologetic". Then the grand gesture - 3yo and her family publically showered with extravagant gifts/money. Followed by the return to rehab and return to TV after he's discharged.

Drink driving is unforgivable, he could have easily killed someone by getting behind that wheel. I feel bad for Dec who is going to have his career fucked up by all of this, I feel bad for the family whose car he hit, and I feel bad for his loved ones who are seeing him sink further into destructive behaviours.

It's Dec I feel sorry for. If Ant goes down, he's going to take Dec with him, from the point of view of Dec's career being gone I mean. One half of a duo. I don't think it could just be 'Dec'.

Who cares, he's just out of rehab, should know better and could have killed someone. I don't think we'll be seeing him on tv for a while.

Drink driving ffs when he can get a cab and highly publicised just out of rehab so shouldn’t be drinking anyway.
