Lisa's crime is not being slim and looking 41, which she is.

The subtext of all the mean pictures of her is "can you blame him, look at the state of her". It's very, very cruel and must take its toll on her mental health."

Ninja, I'm curious how you came to that conclusion? I've seen a fair few articles on the issue recently and haven't seen anything intimating or suggesting/implying what you say. I thought it was more along the lines of drumming up sympathy for her and more judgment towards ant in a 'look how much it is affecting her' way, but I admit that isn't outright said either.

I wonder if we see our own assumptions and views reflected. I'd be interested to see where you got that from?

I think that too. And in case i havent mentioned im getting divorced too. I recognise lots of parrallels in the alleged, the mn alleged and my story.

It is a fkng awful time. And i have personally never looked worse.

I tried EVERYTHING to help my h see, understand and deal with his path of self destruction.

I can only imagine the magnitude od experiencing it played out in the media. Coping with my friends tactless comments has been difficult enough.

She doesn't look not slim and 41. She is a very attractive woman who looks a bit knackered due to her marital woes. She dresses in a really funky way and looks like she doesn't give a fuck. Marriages break down and I hope she finds someone she can be happy with....maybe it's a new chapter for her.

It's curious how the story seems to be 'poor abandoned Lisa by reckless Ant' when I'm not 100% sure anyone but they know the truth.

It could just as easily be spun 'strong, no nonsense Lisa had had enough of Ant's shit and kicked him out until he sorts himself out for her own sanity/ended the relationship before he drags her down with him'.

I don’t think it’s as popular as it used to be and what with Dec on his own and the rumours about Ant holden onto another woman it might have had its day.

I've tried googling Ant and his affair but it doesn't show up the blonde one.
In fact, the blonde one has apparently been supportive to Lisa during the marriage breakdown. I know we can't believe everything we read in the tabloids, but I'm still confused as to whether the rumours about Ant and the blonde one are really true.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if they are!

I doubt we'll watch BGT either this year, and usually it's a family favourite.

Amanda Holden, is awful. And David Walliams, after the presidents club 'I didn't know what was going on' bullshit, I can't be arsed being a part of why these non entities make so much money.

Absolutely agree maximus. I hardly ever watch terrestrial tv, but if I ever do ITV seems like one big smug-fest soup of a few really annoying back-slapping 'slebs (Holly & Phil, the XFactor/BGT clan etc).

BGT started off good as it was only on for a week and was different. however, like most Simon Cowell creations , it became on forever and grew too big - lots of the ones featured already have jobs in their field and it seemed to lose something after about series 3.
would be nice to see some new faces on all the channels i think, but i've been saying that for years now.

They rest this year, rehab, new baby etc, then 2020 BBC snap them up for SCD, ta da.

I always suspected the affair rumours were something dreamt up by his fans who couldnt believe that he was an addict, and wanted there to be another reason why he had left his wife.

I have wondered if Lisa allowed herself to be photographed looking ropey. She is one of the most talented make up artists in the country -if she wanted to hide feeling dreadful, she absolutely could. But she would then possibly find herself portrayed as "heartless Lisa doesn't care about ants woes" or similar. Those pics of her looking tired and stressed drum up a lot of sympathy (well-deserved I expect).

Bishop Yes Im beginning to think theres more to it now. But why? Why would you decide to shag the least attractive half of Ant N Dec when he's so messed up and you already have a reputation as a marriage wrecker? Surely you'd go for Cowell or Walliams if you wanted to climb the greasy pole?

I think Lisa will be signed up to a divorce deal with stringent terms and conditions including keeping schtum.
