I would say my laptop cost £800 so probably that.

Apart from house and holidays, DD3. £2500 for DH's travel to Texas for VR. Worth every penny.

Largest impact at the time - borrowing £250 off this bloke I'd been seeing for a few months, for dental treatment so my teeth didn't all fall out of my gums. Luckily I'm still with said bloke 20 years on.

I've bought expensive things like sofa car etc but all on finance. The most expensive thing I've bought out of pocket in one go was my washing machine 🙊 or a laptop I bought with my student loan but I can't remember how much that was so I'll go with washing machine!

Our nanny. We've spent about 90k so far.

House and wedding in the same year! Laptop probably the other thing which cost a lot (although the new boiler was way more, but that’s house expenditure so I think of it a bit differently). Most expensive item of clothing would be my wedding dress. All of them have been worth it though!
