To consider indoor grass in living room?

We are seriously considering using artificial grass to carpet our living room. Are there any possible issues with this that we have not considered?

Really? I knew a pub that had real turf in the bar.

Presuming this is serious, I know a few people who have this in their kids bedrooms. My concern would be keeping it clean - wouldn’t it be a magnet for dirt, crispy things, crumbs etc getting stuck in it?

Can you hoover it?
Spills?
Soft under foot?

I'm all for people living how they like- but there is a line.

Do you have pets or kids? How would you keep it clean? Our cats would prolly try and pee in it.

Yes we are serious. Surely you can hoover it. It is used outside so has to be pretty tough.

What are your reasons for wanting it? Personally I wouldn't as it's not as nice to walk on as wooden or carpeted floors.

I have never heard of this. Would your interiors be like garden themed?

Our reason is that we think it would look amazing with our current blue decor.

Have you walked around on it in bare feet or in socks?

If you want someting to match your 'blue decor' - why not have a bright green disgusting carpet??

No not been hacked and if we go ahead I will have to name change.

Shag carpeting can look grass like. Probably easier to maintain than artifical grass inside.
