To think if you've killed & raped women we don't give a flying fuck what you think on any given matter

Lord Patel has invited rapist killer 'Karen Jones', who says he is a woman to Parliament. Jones killed his partner aged 17, then raped a woman five days after being released and was sentenced to 'life' in 2002.

Now he has been released and Lord Patel has invited him to the House of Lords to advise on some matter that I can't really be bothered to mention. AIBU to not give a shit what he says and think he shouldn't have any kind of voice least of all in Parliament?

Lord Patel thinks he has paid his debt to society. I think this is a grave insult, both to the man he killed and the woman he raped who thought she was going to die during his attack.

Well this "Lord" has confirmed exactly what I've always known is Britain's opinion of women. Fair prey, for men to do with what they want.

I wish I had never had children.

Anyone got any ideas for how to fight this? I've already emailed my MP and been told transwomen are women, no reason allowed.

What the fuck is wrong with these people? We've had Cherno Biko (who wrote about the rape he'd done with the intent of forcibly impregnating a transman) speaking from the platform of the Women's March in Washington; we've had petitions going around for multiple sex-offender Gary Dean Marie; we've had "I tried to strangle my wife" Kellie Maloney on numerous daytime telly sofas. Who next? Ian "Lian" Huntley as special advisor the the Women and Equalities Committee? Is there no crime against women that can't be forgiven when the perp is a TIM?

It almost makes the everyday TIM seem unthreatening. Why would anyone worry about TIMs in womens safe spaces, when rapists and murderers are being feted? If a rapists and murders are giving training and advising government bodies, why would anyone object to a TIM in the women's changing room?
