Lord Patel has invited rapist killer 'Karen Jones', who says he is a woman to Parliament. Jones killed his partner aged 17, then raped a woman five days after being released and was sentenced to 'life' in 2002.

Now he has been released and Lord Patel has invited him to the House of Lords to advise on some matter that I can't really be bothered to mention. AIBU to not give a shit what he says and think he shouldn't have any kind of voice least of all in Parliament?

Lord Patel thinks he has paid his debt to society. I think this is a grave insult, both to the man he killed and the woman he raped who thought she was going to die during his attack.

Out again in 2002? Where he committed the attempted rape five days after being released?

So served just one year for manslaughter in the first place?

He was convicted of suffocating someone in 2001 & released from jail in 2002?? Man or woman that sentence is pathetic.

He then raped a female whilst living in a female bail hostel, having presented as a transwoman, called Karen Louise Lawson. No one cares about women. Males can do what they want & no one in power cares.

What about asking the victims family? What do they think could have been done better? Like perhaps serving his origional jail term for starters.

I looked at the dragon lady article nonsense and could put that down to pure insanity then came across this and despaired, absolutely despaired. He's a vicious, publicity seeking woman hater who should be in a secure unit rather than being freed and invited to talk with any kind of credibility. I am getting scared now.

Wonder how long the "life" sentence actually was.

And I wonder how thoroughly Lord Patel investigated who he was inviting. Karen Jones was previously known as Mark Jones and then Karen Louise Lawson.

This really demonstrates the issue of people who keep changing name and gender. It is hard to track who they really are. And they keep changing their name in order to try to hide a dodgy past (in this past a seriously violent and sex offending past). It is bloody obvious to anyone with half a brain.

But no, this never happens.

OK wrenika... physical and sexual assault, gagging/attempted suffocation, seriously frightening a woman whose job it was to sell men stereotypical women's apparel, because... well... just because really. It wasn't as if she wasn't being taken at face values, she was living in a woman's bail hostel at the time. The woman who was attacked had to go through a court case with her attacker, who was make when he tried t rape her, described as a woman... quite a different experience, hardly fair for the victim!

How does any of that make you feel sorry for her?

How is it he only got 4 years for the death of his boyfriend and a life sentence reduced having being described as potentially an extremely serious risk to any member of the public you associate with?

Too many unthinking bleeding hearts, perhaps?

It gets worse every single day.

Is it impossible to find a trans person to talk about prison issues who hasn't committed a murder or sexual assault?

At 18 this person murdered his boyfriend and claimed to have been provoked during an argument. Then he hid the body for three weeks, until it was so badly decomposed they couldn't tell the cause of death.

He served less than half of his sentence, and attempted to rape a woman just days after his release.

He was 21 he tried to rape the woman, because he was angry that she was a woman.

And during this violent attempted rape he pushed a lemon in his victims mouth to gag her, punched her in the face, and held her by her hair, causing her to think she was going to be raped and killed.

And the only reason he didn't rape her was because he couldn't "get aroused" enough for rape her.

And at the time of the attempted rape, he was living in a female bail hostel with women. A man who hates women because they are women was housed with women because he said he felt like one.

The judge at the trial for the attempted rape said he was a risk to the public in a way that could result with someone else's death.

And since then he's been changing his name to stop people finding out about his past because "it's uncomfortable" for him.

What the fuck are these people thinking?
