WOHMs hold your horses. Your kickings are scheduled for Thursday.

Women without children will be into March I'm afraid

correctpiece · 19/02/2018 15:20

I'm here, loud and proud!

What am I being kicked about today?

glenthebattleostrich · 19/02/2018 15:20

What about WAHM's?

DeadButDelicious · 19/02/2018 15:20

What have we done now?

KalaLaka · 19/02/2018 15:21

I can't, too busy making memories and being smug (allegedly).

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2018 15:21

Just the usual correct. Laziness, feckless ness... Have I missed any?
Glen my diary is filling up. Can't they sodding wait?

OP posts:
DreamyMcDreamy · 19/02/2018 15:21

Why are we being kicked?

Spudlet · 19/02/2018 15:21

Come at me, furry-features!

[bounces around waving fists, Queensbury-style]
[trips over small child]

Ah fuckit. Brew? Anyone?

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2018 15:22

Of course I won't be kicking any men. They work so hard and changed a nappy once.

OP posts:
KalaLaka · 19/02/2018 15:22

Only if it's cold and has been reheated several times.

LittleMyLikesSnuffkin · 19/02/2018 15:23

Now now, we’re not “SAHMs” we are unemployed Hmm

DreamyMcDreamy · 19/02/2018 15:23

Well, count me in if it's to do with laziness.. It's half term here, mine are out with grandparents for the day and I've decided to sit on MN all afternoon and ignore the housework.
< awaits kicking >

Spudlet · 19/02/2018 15:23

Of course! It may also have some stealth Lego at the bottom, but that just adds to the delicate flavour.

Battleax · 19/02/2018 15:23

I feel allegiance to both camps, please can I take all my kickings now and get it over with?

FountainOfGerkins · 19/02/2018 15:24

Reporting in for my kicking Grin

TheOnlyPink · 19/02/2018 15:24

Where's the queue?

No matter what you do as a mother it's wrong. Work full time, you aren't parenting your child. Stay at home, you're setting poor work ethic. Part time working mums are just doing it for "pin money" and they don't give themselves fully to either home or work.

Been a sahm for ten years now, I say fuck it. Do what you want, own it, and try your best to be happy. Fed up of all the insecurity. We are all doing our best.

Lostmyemailaddress · 19/02/2018 15:24

Will i get an extra 1 I have 2 with sn who when in mainstream got stickers every time they sat down and focused for listening for longer then 10 mins ?
They are both at an schools now and still get stickers.

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2018 15:25

No battle you have to have the relevant appointment. Proof will be sought.
SAHMs will be asked to describe the detail of a low brow TV programme from earlier that day. WOHMs will need to show me a Skype image of their children looking miserable and neglected.

HotCrossBunFight · 19/02/2018 15:26

I reaise this is liggthearted and im sorey to bring some seriousness to it, but has mumsnet always been so unkind? Do not understand why women get so worked up over whether other women work or not.

StealthPolarBear · 19/02/2018 15:26

Hot there seem to be a suspicious number of sahm threads in the last week or so.

No conferring. I'll know if you're all describing the same episode of homes under the hammer or are using the same children from slightly different angles
