The Beckhams... again

I would have expected the Beckhams to have learnt their lesson about using charitable causes for shameless self-promotion after the leaked UNICEF emails earlier in the year, but evidently nothing has changed

I was sickened to see young 'photographer' Brooklyn Beckham using the Grenfell catastrophe to promote his new book. These people are quite literally shameless

Sorry, AIBU to consider the Beckhams utterly shameless?

Plenty of slebs will be doing the same. Has Jason Manford popped up yet?

But did you read the article? Hes donating the proceeds, he went out and helped the day after, what's the problem?

If he really wants to help, why not do so anonymously? Why get 'inside sources' to tell the Mail on Sunday that this activity 'proves how kind-hearted (Brooklyn) is. Why? Because he is shamelessly exploiting a human tragedy to promote his (ridiculous) photography book! That's the problem.

He'd have got massive press/PR for his book regardless.

I admire him for it.

I saw his photographs on Twitter and they're so bad. The captions were even better Grin

Yup, I don't see the problem.

Did you start a thread about Cowell and his single? Or is this just a Beckham bashing thread?

The kid is donating proceeds which is pretty decent thing to do I am not seeing your issue really.

And he actually went and helped the day after , should he have gone in disguise?

Why do you feel he should be anonymous OP?

Fair play to him.

That book is a joke but I don't see the issue with him getting some recognition for donating the proceeds.
Too bad he has no discernible talent other than his last name.

Why publicise his generosity? Why not just quietly make a donation?

The daily mail is not known for actual journalism i dont think BB went to the mail they had his photo from when he visited. Do you feel the same about the singers who sang on the charity record ?

I think you're being really harsh over this.

The three boys went and sorted donations after school. They didn't make a big fuss about it.

I hope judgemental people like you don't put the Beckham boys off helping and making a difference when they see an opportunity.
