DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

Shameless placemarking

DailyMaui · 14/06/2017 23:00

This happened at my friend's house - it was the builders next door. The original owner had done up the house (badly) and then sold the massive side garden to developers to build another house.
God knows how they got a key but they were coming in every day.

Tiredtomybones · 14/06/2017 23:01

Is anything in your house moving? Any random cups appearing in the dishwasher, or the like? Anything to indicate someone has been in?

Ames33 · 14/06/2017 23:05

Creepy

Horispondle · 14/06/2017 23:07

This used to happen to me but the toilet seat would be left up. I thought I was going mad but the landlord had horses in the next field so I suspected they were letting themselves in. Couldn't be sure until we complained about damp and came home to find our windows had been opened while we were out. So they were obviously happy to let themselves in and out as they pleased Shock we put our notice in that day!

IloveBanff · 14/06/2017 23:08

Why aren't these builders flushing though? Confused

Storminateapot · 14/06/2017 23:09

The horses were letting themselves in?! Wow! Grin

onmybroomstick · 14/06/2017 23:09

Desperate to know who or what the phantom pisser is

Madbum · 14/06/2017 23:10

How will I sleep tonight??

Theresnonamesleft · 14/06/2017 23:20

Wasn't there a mnetter last year or maybe the year before who had a small space between the kitchen I think and the roof. Turns out she had a dweller iirc. But the post might have been a bridge dweller, or a figment of my imagination.

Rubies12345 · 14/06/2017 23:21

Justaboy · 14/06/2017 23:24

Can you not just leave the seat down when you leave in the morning?.

MammaTJ · 14/06/2017 23:24

I have not been as enthralled by a thread since the one where her DH would not let her have the key to the garage! or something..

Do not leave us in suspense as she did (evil non MNer MN poster woman).

ChasedByBees · 14/06/2017 23:25

It's more of a literal piss giver isn't it? 🤔 crearive placemarking

loaferloveforyou · 14/06/2017 23:26

Haven't RTFT cos It freaked me out too much.

Is there a rational explanation yet? 😱

angelnix · 14/06/2017 23:26

Tape the seat down tomorrow. If they can't be bothered to flush, they won't bother retaping it.

Ellie56 · 14/06/2017 23:30

Flossiekins Pussington. Love it! Grin Grin

FreakinScaryCaaw · 14/06/2017 23:34

MamaTJ what happened about the garage thread?

Op hope you find the cause?

icantfindagoodname · 14/06/2017 23:41

Nothing is moving around, it is just the wee. I have sprinkled toilet roll in the bathroom and taped down the seat. DH did point out that it could be happening during the night aswell because the kids always go to the toilet first in the mornings so they may be flushing the evidence! I live in a row of 3 houses, one side is empty. Whoever posted the cat picture, she is flossiekins pussingtons' twin! I shall update first thing in the morning, unless I catch someone in the night, then I shall post via my kindle whilst using my phone to send for help.
