DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

Not sure. Just seemed a bit, 'light hearted' I guess, for something so concerning. Read like a David Williams book.

Ok ...... so someone is hiding in the loft, they leave the toilet without flushing. The reason being they don't want to attract attention to the outside world by making a noise (fair enough). But they are attracting attention by leaving the toilet without flushing?

So, they are also using bottles in the loft to urinate in?

Why would they just not use the bottles, urinate in them and then just throw this down the sink/basin?

Thereby. no noise, no signs they've been there! I doubt that personal hygiene is top of their agenda. If they are too scared to flush, they won't be showering or bathing will they?

Sorry, I'll gladly be proved otherwise but I have doubts!

The two situations may not be linked.
Random wee in the toilet may still be the cat unsolved, however on the hunt for the culprit the loft lurker had been uncovered.

Wee in a bottle if someone is home, in the toilet if everyone is out?

Charlie97 I don't know if it is true or not but I am not sure we can rationalise the acts of someone squatting in a loft... It might just be a perv that enjoys leaving their pee and not being found boark

Have they set a camera trap? Like the sort wildlife buffs use for badgers and the like.

Would flushing a toilet be heard by neighbours? Genuinely curious as I never hear our neighbours toilet (although given the layout there would be a bedroom and hallway between them) even in other places I've lift I've never heard someone else's toilet flush.
