DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

If it were a stuck poo it would have appeared overnight, as well as when family were out.

Ooh, wake up and check!!! Pleeeease?

Brittbugs80 · 15/06/2017 06:19

My first thought was people in the loft. My first childhood home, our lofts were all connected. It was only when the middle house purchased off the council and put a wall back up either side that others started doing the same.

We had a neighbor whose husband was always in trouble with the police and they used to send their kids out (in my class in junior school) while they drank and watched porn. When the police knocked to arrest him, he would run upstairs, into the loft down to the house at the opposite end, out of their back door and into another house who would hide him there!

What if it is people in the loft?! Shock

Lovelilies · 15/06/2017 06:35

Can't wait to see what it was, I'm late for work now because I was reading this! Shock

Charlie97 · 15/06/2017 06:36

Blatant place marking

JigglyBall · 15/06/2017 06:39

My old cat (rip) used to wee on the toilet too. Slightly less smelly than a cat tray, but I had to really encourage him not to do it.

earlymorningtea · 15/06/2017 06:49

Another one place marking

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/06/2017 06:56

Def not toilet cleaner that is yellow and put down loo? If left kinda looks like piss 🤔

Now I use blue

Does seem weird ......

ThePurpleOneWithTheNut · 15/06/2017 06:59

Ooh place marking. The very thought of someone living secretly in the loft is terrifying! Is that a thing that happens often??

sufficatedsue · 15/06/2017 06:59

Ooh...... come on op!!

spottysuperted · 15/06/2017 07:02

Confused this is freaky

icantfindagoodname · 15/06/2017 08:12

So, I got up during the night to go for a wee. Whilst having said wee, flossiekins pussington OPENED THE BATHROOM DOOR AND WALKED IN. After seeing me, she gave me a filthy look and walked back out. So my prime suspect is her. However, I need to gather more evidence, innocent until proven guilty and all that jazz.

I am also sending my brother into the loft. DH is a giant and couldn't actually get all the way in.

Redsippycup · 15/06/2017 08:20

My cat stares at me accusingly whle i'm on the loo - or indeed while i'm doing anything.

He doesn't pee in it though.

bigbadbarry · 15/06/2017 08:24

My cats like to come in the bathroom while I wee first thing in the morning only (one of them gets on my lap if I let him) and they can open the door if I don't lock it. They don't wee in the toilet though (only in the bathmat if it is left in the floor)

CuriosityDoor · 15/06/2017 08:52

Shamelessly lurking

toooldforthisshirt37 · 15/06/2017 09:09

My marriage was hanging by a thread (not) when this happened in our house, I was livid with my husband for leaving the guest loo dirty all the time! Turned out it was Magic my black cat, he never learned to flush though! Believe me cats do train themselves to do this - if you have one it is probably him!

OnTheRise · 15/06/2017 09:22

One of our cats used to wee in the toilet, so this is a common thing. We didn't teach her, she just worked it out on her own. She's a clever thing.

I hope you find out who is doing this. And I am boggling at the landlord who let himself in, and the other one who let the builders use his tenant's facilities. Outrageous!
