DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

If you flush the toilet before bed and it is ok in the morning then surely it can't be something lodged?

icantfindagoodname · 14/06/2017 21:35

mrspringles what a tosser he sounds like!
fridayrain That is my thinking, it is only appearing when we are all at work or school.

"Oh if it was a case of a flush it would have just been once, this is 3 days in a row"

I wouldn't be so sure, it's certainly happened two days in a row chez nous. The flush isn't always effective, something probably needs adjusting.

justanotheryoungmother · 14/06/2017 21:42

Placemarking as I really want to know who, or what, is the culprit!Grin

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 14/06/2017 21:43

Eagerly awaiting the conclusion of this mystery...!

Redsippycup · 14/06/2017 21:45

Agree it would happen overnight if it was an issue with the flush / drains.

DP asks if your house is detached or not? Could neighbours / neighbours secret loft dwellers be getting in thru the loft?

First MN thread he hasn't rolled eyes and sighed at btw - thank you!

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 14/06/2017 21:47

Placemarking!!!! Was hoping this would be an old thread and there would already be an answer Grin

SquinkiesRule · 14/06/2017 21:50

I was going to suggest someone coming in through the loft if you are attached to same as Mr Redsippycup
Weird goings on.

YogiYoni · 14/06/2017 21:51

I can't think of anything witty to say so I'll just admit to placemarking.

nomorebabiesyet · 14/06/2017 21:51

Placemarking. You are dealing with this very well. That would be freaking me out. Do you lock thr doors? How would someone get in?

ClopySow · 14/06/2017 21:54

Google "people found living in loft"

Ironfloor · 14/06/2017 22:05

Lurking.

Bubblysqueak · 14/06/2017 22:08

If we leave the stair Gate open our dog wees in and around the toilet. Took us weeks to work out, I thought the dc were weeing everywhere when he asleep and standing up. Would never have had believed it was the dog until I saw him do it.

Bumdishcloths · 14/06/2017 22:10

Shameless placemarking, I need to know the outcome Grin

Redsippycup · 14/06/2017 22:12

Clopy. No. I can't get into my loft to check (short ladder and no upper body strength) and I want to sleep tonight.

BridgetDarcy · 14/06/2017 22:15

Placemarking too.....

AHintOfStyle · 14/06/2017 22:23

Ginger782 · 14/06/2017 22:42

OP you don't say how old your kids are, you don't have a son bunking off school do you....?

Siwdmae · 14/06/2017 22:44

If it's the builders, I'd be flicking raging at the landlord! No wonder some of them have such a bad rap!

Babyiwantabump · 14/06/2017 22:46

youngestisapsycho · 14/06/2017 22:49
