DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

OP posts:
TooSleepyToCare · 17/06/2017 01:21

My goodness. This really gave me a shock. I was really hoping for a clever cat. Holy sh1t. I'm totally freaked out now. Hope I don't have nightmares now.
Any updates, Op?

KoalasAteMyHomework · 17/06/2017 01:40

Blatant place marking!

Seeingadistance · 17/06/2017 02:01

I hope the OP comes back and gives us an update soon, and that all is ok with her.

For those who're being a tad disbelieving...

I know of something similar happening, but with a more awful outcome. Two families, in semi-detached houses which shared a loft. The husband from one family used the loft to get access to the house next door when he knew the husband was away, and sexually assaulted the wife. That happened in the mid to late 1980s.

sykadelic · 17/06/2017 02:42

O.M.G. I'd be setting a trap too. Holy crap!

GhostPower · 17/06/2017 03:10

So sorry about the link not working

TheMaddHugger · 17/06/2017 03:21

((((((((((GhostPower))))))))))))))

I think It's a Me problem, everyone else can see it, so please don't worrry

Bahhhhhumbug · 17/06/2017 03:39

I'm lying in bed dying for a wee ......which entails walking underneath our attic door on the landing. Feck that l am just going to wet the bed we need a new mattress anyway .

WelshMoth · 17/06/2017 06:53

Baaaah Grin

OP hope you're ok.

Lessthanaballpark · 17/06/2017 07:22

OP, hope all is ok.

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 17/06/2017 07:53

Ungoogleable - has he checked yet?!

Coffeeandcakeplease16 · 17/06/2017 08:25

Poor you OP, at least you sound like you have one of the few good LLs out there!

UnGoogleable · 17/06/2017 08:47

Ungoogleable - has he checked yet?

No he's not coming here until this evening. I'm not bloody going up there!

I'm sure it was just a rogue wee by him.... there's no food in the house anyway..

Ghostpower the link worked for me (I just ignored the popups and they went away after a while). Creepy as hell! Do you think it's real? Why was she so calm and relaxed after the guy had got up in the night? You'd think she'd have made a sharp exit after that! Shock

UrsulaPandress · 17/06/2017 09:00

Shit. I'm glad I didn't read this last night as I'm home alone.

friskybivalves · 17/06/2017 09:04

Maybe the phantom pee-er didn't flush because he thought the noise would alert another neighbour - or he was worried the cistern would still be filling up when OP got home.

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 17/06/2017 09:21

The first place we ever rented had shared loft spare across terraces like this. We had a problem with our water tank, went up to look and discovered that one of the neighbours had set up a nice little grow house across all 3 open loft spaces!!!!

GhostPower · 17/06/2017 09:42

Ungoogleable I read the comments of the YouTube poster and this is what he had to say

TheObserverOne · 17/06/2017 10:15

Blatant placemark

UnGoogleable · 17/06/2017 10:21

OMG Ghost so it's not as if she was just accessing the apartment via a shared space... she was actually living up there Shock

That is so creepy. Fuck me, I had a fit when I found a rat living in my utility room. Imagine finding an actual human had been living in your house without you knowing!!!

ChrisPrattsFace · 17/06/2017 10:28

We have no access to our loft, so if there is someone living in there - its only the neighbours house they can get in to! Lucky Me!

GhostPower · 17/06/2017 10:34

It's frightening to think about isn't it. There are so many stories like this. For example a boy found a secret doorway behind a book case and there was a stairwell leading to the basement

purrfectname101 · 17/06/2017 11:13

Totally not placemarking..

GhostPower · 17/06/2017 12:27

Op are you ok? We haven't heard anything from you for a while now. Ladies and gents I think we need CIS:Mumsnet.

fridayrain · 17/06/2017 13:48

Found this old magazine i bought for my mum but forgot to give to her. Made me laugh.

Omg so glad I have a converted attic and that it's a bedroom not a storage space! Hope you haven't had any more intrusion op!
