No. I don't like it and everyone will say 'Cally-Opp' but it's a perfectly acceptable name!

It sounds like a sort of fruit or animal. I wouldn't. Nobody would ever pronounce it or spell it correctly either.

Never watched Greys Anatomy and I would have pronounced it wrong.

I think it's horrendous, sorry. And the poor kid will have to spend their whole life having to explain how to pronounce / spell it.

He/she will be called Cal or Callie by their friends when older, which is fine.
Confused older people (like myself!) will think the name is Calico.

It's OK, but IMO a little bit harsh-sounding as a name, sounding like gallopy or jallopy.
