I've been thinking about it lately and don't know why. I don't think its jealousy. maybe its because she is getting away with it, and has had unbelievable luck in life with the "singing" and "designing" She is probably nice enough in RL but her pouting and posing just grate.

Meh she's probably not bothered! I think you can't really judge if you don't know her.

I like her. I think she could have sat back and done nothing on her Spice Girls earnings and her husband's / 'brand Beckham' money but she chose to work hard to develop a new career in fashion, at which she seems to be doing extremely well. I think she seems a good mum too.

What exactly is VB 'getting away with'?

When did you meet her? Was she unpleasant to your face?

If not then your OP does sound as though you are jealous of her life. Are you as judgmental about your family, friends, colleagues, neighbours?

I think YABU to "seriously dislike" someone based on the reasons you have given, yes.

It seems bitter, for want of a better word.

YABU. I've read interviews with her and she seems really nice - quite composed but definitely has a good head on her shoulders.

I don't dislike her. I dislike her pimping out her children for 16 years.

I'm not trying to be flippant but maybe there are things in your life that you're not happy with and you're using her as a focus for your frustrations.
I get that people dislike celebrities but you seriously dislike someone you've never meant and seem to be thinking about it a lot.
Maybe you would be better off bringing some contentment into your own life.

Stop reading the Mail Online and any thought about The Beckhams or the Kardashians will simply disappear. Although I do wish they would stop pimping out their kids.

I don't know her but I like what I see when she's interviewed, totally different to the moody face she presents when photographed.

Odd. I saw a couple who took control of how their kids were seen to try and avoid the horrors of the paparazzi. I thought it had worked quite well too. Not too many uber intrusive shots, no real horror stories, and a general air of family doing family stuff.

When compared to others in similar situations I quite like them - in that they very rarely intrude upon my consciousness. To find out about them I have to actively go and look. Can't say the same about some other celebrity families!

I've met her, she is so nice and funny and actually very smiley face to face.
I'm sure she doesn't give a shiny shit whether you like her or not though.

As I don't read tabloids, or gossip magazines I find it remarkably easy to lead my life only coming across a very rare mention (usually on MN) of Mrs Beckham.

I'm not really clear why a stranger would bother you so much but if you disengage with celebrity gossip you'll find the problem quite disappears.
