To really worry about a Tory / UKIP coalition possibility?

Can anyone tell me how likely this is to actually happen?

I have a severely disabled daughter and also have quite severe mental health problems myself so I am scared. Actually I am scared for the whole country. I don't think there are many people whose lives would not be affected by the nasty policies of UKIP.

My friend who is from Scandinavia is worried too about the noises being made about us leaving the EU.

It just won't happen. UKIP are unlikely to get more than five MP's if they are lucky. They might well get none. But it's anyone's guess what will happen at the next election. Labour voters defecting to SNP in Scotland, collapse of the LD vote. Unpopular Ed. Still think he should be got rid of before the next election. No wonder they're all shaking in their boots.

YANBU at all. I agree with Viviennemary that it's unlikely to happen after the next election, but after that is where the danger lies if they gain more support.
It's horrible that anyone would vote for them.

By "them" I mean UKIP. Although I would never vote Tory, I don't find them as utterly deplorabe as UKIP.

I'm scared of UKIP too. They are a horrid, fascist party. Very worrying.

For all the hype and bluster, they are not going to get more than 1 or 2 mps. The SNP in Scotland will probably outnumber them.

as the a parent of a disabled person I am scared for them if UKIP get more support.
i am sick of the most vulnerable being targeted and think it will only get worse as people are blind to it. people refuse to see it has been worse under a tory government and god help us if UKIP ever get power.

I find it worrying too. I think the fact that UKIP are a threat will encourage more people to vote who may not have before to avoid this.

I truly think we all need to vote out the tories and ensuring this doesn't happen.

The difficulty for votes like myself is that I desperately want us to get out of the E.U. It's my biggest concern at the moment.

It doesn't feel like the other major parties are taking that issue seriously.

I don't like UKIP one bit and I wish there was a more liberal party which will promise us a referendum on the EU, but I can't see that happening.

I think we need a change but not in the UKIP way. I like the Green party values. I have given up on Labour as they seem just like the Tories now!

This is my fear. UKIP appear, through their policies as well as actions, to hate women. I will seriously regret voting no to Scottish independence if we end up with a Con/UKIP coalition.

Not to the same extent and they didn't spin the insidious little tale of deserving and undeserving poor. Worker and shirker. Hard working families. Ad fucking infinitum.

It's difficult now to see the difference between the 3 major parties, their styles and the way they present themselves is so similar.

Will probably vote Labour though as it seems to be a wasted vote to vote for Green.

YANBU it terrifies me. I have a disabled child and am currently on IS and CA. I am looking for work (have an interview next week) but i fear that if i can't find anything i will be fucked if they get a coalition together.

For the first time in all my voting years, I honestly hand on heart have no idea who I will vote for.

I'm genuinely curious as to what they will do about restricting freedom of movement in Europe. What do they think will happen to the millions of Brits living in other EU countries? I am completely amazed that anyone who has watched Nigel Farage talk could treat him as a serious politician.

Will someone please explain to me this fear of "I have a disabled child/am disabled"? I can find nothing in the Manifesto of UKIP. Or is it the Tories?
