Last week, it was saying how sorry he felt for JS's family to the VICTIMS of JS fgs, basically saying that he knew the layout of the dressing rooms at the BBC and he can't imagine that happening and no-one seeing and now, just, he said "But that's what television and radio was like in those days"

I had this today. I was in Tesco buying Caitlin Morans new book when i got talking to the young girl at the cash desk. She said the reason that they are coming forward now is to possibly get money from the papers.

I think a lot of people really don't understand how news media works. I doubt that most of these women are being paid for their stories.

Schofield, Smith etc sound like prize twats.If they had any sense at all, they'd realise that they would be much better off keeping their mouths shut than saying anything that would appear to put them on the same side as Savile.

yes Mary but I'm afraid I didnt believe a word of what he said. He was completely focussed on trial by press, and how awful that was. There was something about his very vehement denials of never ever having been anywhere near an underage girl, coupled with the fact that he said he couldnt remember an awful lot of things that made me very uncomfortable.

PS was not too bad at the interview I thought, although eveyrone was guarding their words very carefully no doubt with an eye on potential litigation.

FS tried to get an injunction last friday, he said it was all lies as he'd never been on tv with JS and GG, then C4 - showed the footage of them all with the victim.

I didn't believe a word of what he said. He is a man panicking.

Interesting that his fiancee brought up the point about her being much younger than him not meaning anything.

I saw FS on TM, What I can't work out is that he wants to be interviewed by the police, so why doesn't he go to a police station.

And if you have been accused and you claim to be innocent 1) why try and get an injuction? 2) Hire a PI to investigate the victim?

Bupcakes, wife also mentioned that she first met FS when she was very vulnerable.
