I am disappointed to hear that Philip has rape apologist views as I always thought he was quite a genuinely nice man (or so he came across to me)
But I do also see what he's saying about feeling sorry for js family. And I think this applies to any rapists, murderers, paedofiles family, obviously never as much sympathy as with the victims of abuse but they must suffer too- imagine if it were you r dad, brother, son etc it would be hard. the interview i heard was on radio 2 i think it was from the interview with radio 5. mike smith called it a witch hunt at the bbc he was frothing i could tell when he mentioned jsp :)
