At least in anyone in living memory of the current government and their immoral targeting of the most vulnerable members of society.
I voted conservative at the last election to my eternal shame, I won't make the same mistake twice.

I would vote Conservative again. Although it will be a tough choice between them and UKIP.

I've got a feeling that they will win the majority at the next go.

The Lib Dems will be swiftly booted I suspect, and Labour are just floundering.

The thing is, all the posters who say 'They are vermin' 'I'd never vote for them' etc are absolutely no barometer of what is going on and what will likely happen.

It's changing votes that change a government.

And I get the sense that Labour are making no headway.

They have u turned on so many things, halted school building improvements.

They only care about the wealthy / south. IMO

Some people will, probably the ones not affected by the cuts though.

They only have 1 MP in Scotland, we don't forget what Thatcher did to our industries.

Actually it's getting people to vote in the first place that will change things.

Turnout is shit at the moment but plenty of people care about politics although they don't see it as such. Eg the NHS, education etc.

I wish people would vote. Drives me mad.

I voted Labour all my life and just couldn't do it again at the last election. I felt totally betrayed by them. Like being devoted to a boyfriend and finding out they are a scum bag I'm still finding it hard to move on! They are just not the answer though recently met Ed Milliband and thought he seemed quite nice

Can't vote Liberal as think they are hopeless. I've now taken the view that I absolutely used to abhor - that you can't trust a politician and they are all as bad as each other. They're careerists and no one seems to be in it for genuine motivations. It's jump on the latest band wagon and get the press on side.

Yabu. We were in a mess. Complaining about the medicine is ridiculous. Am sure the government would much rather be flashing the cash, spending like crazy and buying votes like the last one but we're broke and the grown up thing to do is fix it.

No politician wants to do unpopular things. The best ones accept they have to.

Voted for them last time & will definately vote for them again next time. Hopefully they'll win a majority so they can offload the Lib Dems and actually make some real changes. DH & I have both been affected by the cuts (income dropped by a third) but would still vote the tories in again.

I disagree. I think a lot of people will vote Conservative again. Anyone who likes the sound of benefit reforms for a start!

There are lots of Conservative policies that appeal in the short term to people who feel that Labour were a bit too free and reckless with money at times. But I don't think they consider the long term implications necessarily.

Politicians never talk about the long term effects of their short term solutions and most people are too short sighted to consider (just look at the number of people who 'didn't see' the economic downturn coming!)

The Liberal Democrats on the other hand...

The problem is that they are targeting the young and vulnerable in their cuts. This section of society are the least likely to vote. So unless a large number of them do, its going to be the same people who voted the last time plus a few others who have been let down by the lib dems and who dislike labour.

They will most likely get the majority. I dont remember thatcher, but am interested to know how it was worse than what we are living through now? Thats a genuine question btw.

All the people that believe the most vulnerable in society need to get us out of this mess, will vote for them.

Quite scary how many of them there are really.
