To think it is beyond rude & disgusting to leave shit stains in the toilet

I fear I am reacting particularly badly to this as am feverish & knackered, but...

My parents are visiting - my DC are 2 and 10 weeks.
All gone pretty smoothly until this morning, just before we went out. I went to the loo & discovered a delightful array of shit stains all over the pan.

I asked my dad - yes it was him, he tried to get them off... But what?! Couldn't be arsed so left them for me to deal with?! Wtf?!?!

I'm so pissed off its unreal. Before taking DD to bed for her nap just now I asked one of them to clean it. I seriously never thought I'd have to have that conversation with my dad. Angry Hmm

God I would never embarrass my. Dad llike that!!!

CMOTDibbler · 20/07/2012 13:04

I actually can't believe you were so rude to your dad.

MardyBra · 20/07/2012 13:04

Both unreasonable I'm afraid.

cuntflapwankbadger · 20/07/2012 13:04

yanbu, pet hate of mine. I am not here to clear up your shit because you can't be arsed!

The OP's dad embarrassed himself by leaving shit stains he couldn't be bothered cleaning!

gordyslovesheep · 20/07/2012 13:05

I would be mortified if you spoke to me like that

SaraBellumHertz · 20/07/2012 13:05

Your poor dad Shock

Whilst its not ideal it is kind of what toilets are for

BobbysBeardOfWonder · 20/07/2012 13:05

But he should be Blush right?! Why would anyone leave a toilet in that state, certainly when it's not your house?!
I was no way cleaning up someone else's shit stains. Angry

Sparklingbrook · 20/07/2012 13:06

Your poor Dad, Sad

cuntflapwankbadger · 20/07/2012 13:06

I would be mortified if you spoke to me like that

Like what? OP only asked one of them to clean the shit they left all over the toilet.

TwllBach · 20/07/2012 13:06

I agree OP. completely. It disgusts me. Even more - it disgusts me that people would go on holiday to a b and b and then leave skid marks and piss all over the seat, knowing that someone else will have to clean then up for you.

cuntflapwankbadger · 20/07/2012 13:07

Are you for real all you people saying "poor dad"?!

valiumredhead · 20/07/2012 13:07

Good God, you spoke to not only a house guest but your dad like that> My flabbier is ghasted!

oldraver · 20/07/2012 13:07

Asking someone to clean THEIR OWN shit stains is not rude

marriedinwhite · 20/07/2012 13:08

Thank God he left in the toilet, I have friends whose parents are so old and unwell they are leaving them in the bed.

Couldn't you have just said "I've fired bleach round the loo mum and dad, would one of you mind giving it a good brush when we get back".

MrsCog · 20/07/2012 13:08

Not sure where I stand on this - you're not one of the Mners who doesn't have a loo brush are you? If so, YADBU as how was he meant to clean it? If you do have a loo brush I'm not sure how he struggled to do

BlackOutTheSun · 20/07/2012 13:09

Poor dad? WTF he can clean his own shit stains up!

cuntflapwankbadger · 20/07/2012 13:09

Thank God he left in the toilet, I have friends whose parents are so old and unwell they are leaving them in the bed.

Really irrelevant comment. My mum's dead and can't leave shit stains, is that important too?!

BobbysBeardOfWonder · 20/07/2012 13:09

Why should I not speak to my dad like that?

I probably wouldn't say anything to non-family, but then most people I know wouldn't leave shit stains all over the toilet (did I mention that bit Wink )

OP posts:
TwllBach · 20/07/2012 13:09

I don't understand why some think it is unreasonable for the OP to have asked her father to clean his own shit off her toilet. If I shit in someone else's toilet and left it there I would expect to be asked to clean it up.

maddening · 20/07/2012 13:09

where was the poo stain? If was on the seat then yanbu - otherwise yabu and have been horrible to your dad!

Sparklingbrook · 20/07/2012 13:10

Well with any luck he will be so Blush he won't come and stop with you again and you won't have to worry. Sad Why didn't you ask your Mum if it was her?

BobbysBeardOfWonder · 20/07/2012 13:10

And yes there is a loo brush next to the loo.

OP posts:
MrsCog · 20/07/2012 13:10

Sorry - if you do have a loo brush then I'm not sure how/why he'd have struggled to clean it.

Dropdeadfred · 20/07/2012 13:10

I'd be annoyed but I wouldn't mention it to my parents. And why 'one of them' - why should you involve your mum?

GobblersKnob · 20/07/2012 13:10

Jesus, it would have been so much easier on everyone to just clean the bloody loo and not mention it Shock

It's only a bit of poo on the back of your loo, not like he curled one out on the dining table. Sheesh.
