Why was she standing with her leg about 5ft away from the rest of her body? She looked awkward and weird and her leg looked like a chicken leg whereas mine are wonderful, obviously.

There was an interview with her dad (on Lorraine) at the oscars and he mentioned that she stood like that until the audience "got it" a whatever "it" was. I couldnt hear as kids were screaming.

there's something weird going on with her/his fingers in that photo - it looks like it's almost not her hand, and there are some small child fingers sticking up at the back.

It's a prosthetic third leg, rigged with ropes and pulleys. Why else did Brad take his mum, if not to operate the leg mechanism from afar?
