Why was she standing with her leg about 5ft away from the rest of her body? She looked awkward and weird and her leg looked like a chicken leg whereas mine are wonderful, obviously.

Just clicked the link and I see she Posed like this down the red carpet as well as on stage presenting an award. Looks to me like she's trying to get her wild sex symbol image back you know the angelina who had sex in the car on the way to the oscars then drape herself all over billy bob Thornton on the red carpet

Angelina may be morally questionable for going out with a married man, but he's the one who's a lying scumbag who cheated on his wife. I know who I think is the more despicable in this scenario.

Sorry, I know that sounds po-faced, but I get so sick of the 'husband-stealing'/'marriage-wrecking' etc criticisms that get blithely flung at Angelina while no one says a thing about Brad. It's misogyny and it makes me angry.

I actually wonder about the amount of hair gel/hair spray that Brad had on that hair. Blewgh. It couldn't possibly have stayed put without. I like natural men's hair and to be able to get my fingers through it.

On the what was she thinking side, though, what do you think of Sandra Bullock's dress? So drab and ill fitting.

A subtle glimpse of leg would have been glamorous but that looked contrived and amateur. She has been around long enough to know better.

Does she not normally get her legs out? It's so contrived that she must be trying to make some sort of point but with her latest film about Bosnia you'd have thought she'd be a bit beyond flashing a bit of leg for attention. All a bit weird.

Ohhh, I am not normally a Gwynnie fan but she does look amazing! Love Cameron too, and both of them have managed to look really honestly happy too which is quite rare in those pics.

Agree about the scrawny leg, it looks awful, though maybe she didn't realise the effect of the different angles, the shot that is from the front looks (somewhat) better and I think it's a classic sort of pose so maybe that's what she was aiming for but didn't think of the effect of the side shots?

J-Lo's dress is amazing, though I think that style would work even better on someone slightly less curvy, it's very art deco style and I'm sure boyish figures with minimal boobs/bum were the fashion then so that would suit the dress better perhaps. Still lovely though.

I like Jessica Chastain's too, and Natalie P looks fab, she's really "making" the dress rather than the other way round!

I thought that, if she was standing in that position without that dress on (ie wearing something different, not naked - although I suppose that would also work to illustrate my point) she would look extremely odd and unladylike. It just shouts desperate attention seeker but then that's the Oscars all over isn't it.

On one of the photos she does seem to be standing normally, it's just that dress has all the detail on one side and makes her look lopsided.
Each to her own, but I didn't think it was a nice dress at all - far too heavy and a bit curtain-y. They didn't say who designed it either.

Can I just say that in every red carpet picture I've seen, Viola Davis looks wonderful? She either has a great sympathetic stylist, or she is a fashion queen.

Looking at the pictures I feel sorry for all the female slebs who appear to think they have to wear uncomfortable, and often ridiculous, hard to walk in clothing while the male slebs fade into the background with their comfy shoes and identical full coverage suits.

It was a lovely dress: she just ruined it by posing like she's fanny-farting all the way up the red carpet.

Michelle Williams also looked amazing.

It's nice to see that Gwyneth has found a solution to hide those pesky flabby upper arms.

I loved the dress Stacy Keibler (who is she?) is wearing. Definitely the winner. That and Gwen's.

Maybe Ange just had really sweaty nether regions and needed to let the breeze get to it. I've definitely been there, all dolled up at some fancy do on a hot summer's evening. Feeling defintely damp and desperate to get some air moving down there.

Love Gwyneth's outfit, though it pains me to say so as I find the woman wearing it so frustrating.
