Why was she standing with her leg about 5ft away from the rest of her body? She looked awkward and weird and her leg looked like a chicken leg whereas mine are wonderful, obviously.

I just can't like her. I know I'm basing that on media presentation, but I just can't. The captured 'intimate look' shared between them looks nothing more than blankness on her part. And if you look at the photo of her with her in laws, the tension in her arms and the dominating hand hold makes me wince. There's no doubt in my mind who runs the household.

I don't think that Brad's mum Jane really likes Angelina. When they were being interviewed on the red carpet, an interviewer asked her how proud she was of her daughter-in-law. You could see a momentary eclipse of the face where it looked like she was thinking "SHE is not my DIL! Jennifer is!" Then she just went "The ultimate!" WTF?!

I think when someone gets it really wrong it's just a case of there being only a limited number of Oscar acceptible frocks on a rail, and for whatever reason sometimes some of them just don't get there on time to bag the good ones. Gwynnie was obviously front of the queue (she would be wouldn't she?) Natalie Portman was second in line (she looks utterly lovely) and I think Missi Pyle (who?) was obviously stuck in traffic or something... got the odd mishmash of a dress in a horrible colour that was left behind.

God, she's so BORING. Black dress, zzz, red lipstick, zzz. I would love to see her wearing something interesting for once. She/her stylist doesn't understand her body, very very thin does not automatically = great body to show off, she would look much better more covered up, her figure is very elegant rather than sexy and that's what she should play to.

Everyone else looks very dull too, it's the Oscars fgs! Dress up a bit! I think Milla Jovovitch, Glenn Close, Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep are the only people apart from Gwyneth and Cameron who understood that it's a night for making a BIG effort.

I normally love Penelope Cruz but that colour is doing nowt for her.

Weirder still is the way that miserable, gopping old handbag, Posh Spice, insists on standing. She's always on a tilt, and in the pic of the Beckhams with Tom and his beard Katie, poor old Dave has ended up looking like some kind of photobomber due to his wife's insistence that she needs to keep her hand on her hip in order to avoid the dreaded Ham Arm?.

God, Posh looks so tired! Get some sleep woman! I think she never used to smile because she had shit teeth, she's got them sorted but old habits die hard I won't have a word said against her

Jennifer Lopez looks amazing, she's about 5 years older than Posh and she's got twins! Posh is definitely burning the midnight oil too much.

Love this thread - was really troubled when I watched the red carpet stuff by her third leg. Was all very strange & must definitely have had hidden controls.
GP was my joint fave with Penelope Cruz. Liked Michelle Williams until she turned round - why wasnt the back the same colour?? Meryl Streep (as lovely as she seems) had a horrible dress on.
And whats with the fashion of boobs squashed into dresses - makes them look as if the dress is too small.

And I know what you mean about David Beckham, he's more attractive as he gets older, but his voice it just ruins it all
