b) you watch Daybreak. Just get a grip.

c)

LineRunner · 09/07/2011 23:29

Obviously I hope you enjoy it.

Punkatheart · 09/07/2011 23:30

You will love it - trust me!

My daughter has seen it twice and at fourteen, is not easily impressed!

ColonelBrandonsBiggestGroupie · 09/07/2011 23:32

Yanbu.

I have Snape wallpaper on my computer and have my fancy dress outfit all ready except the cloak!

And I am re-reading it for the zillionth time.

And I KNOW i am going to cry - a lot.

But I don't know what Daybreak is...

FoofusScrimgeour · 09/07/2011 23:33

FoofusScrimgeour · 09/07/2011 23:34

bruffin · 09/07/2011 23:36

My DC's aged 13 and 15 are claiming it is like their childhoods are ending now there is no more HP films or books.
I will never forget taking DS to see the first film. He was 5 and he stood up at the end and said "i want to see that again"

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/07/2011 23:38

FoofusScrimgeour · 09/07/2011 23:42

Hoorah!!

What in God's name is a "Cowntdown"? Jeez.

Booandpops · 09/07/2011 23:43

Me too, so excited but dreading it too! I cried loads Thursday watching the premier. I would have loved to go but can't lave my two kids for 3 days to camp. So sad it's over. Will miss H R &H They are all grown up and leaving us :(
None of my friends get me. They think I'm mental! Got tickets for sat. Plus I'm seeing it 3d in a few weeks and also have tickets for our local cheap cinema in sept £1!!!

At least I now get to read and watch with my little ones and see it all through their eyes.

We are also having a Harry potter week this week. Got to be done!

Punkatheart · 09/07/2011 23:47

..I like Cowntdown....but don't milk it...

(rolls on floor)

VoldemortsNipple · 09/07/2011 23:49

punkaheart HOW did your DD see it. Thats just not fair!

DD was 5 too bruffin, by which time she was already going to bed every night to the sound of Stephen Fry reading the audio books.

Im doing a sponsored charity walk up Snowdon that day and have warned everybody, if they break their leg or are not down the mountain in time, they will be left behind.

Is the countdown an iphone app?

VoldemortsNipple · 09/07/2011 23:53

Countdown is an app on my phone, tells us how many days, minutes and seconds left till HP starts, although its a bit out. I think its counting down american time [hsmile]

FoofusScrimgeour · 09/07/2011 23:54

Thanks, I'm on it

DreamsInBinary · 09/07/2011 23:55

It is amazing. My sister won première tickets so we saw it on Tues. You will not be disappointed!

Punkatheart · 09/07/2011 23:56

Well her daddy has worked ten long years on it. Up at 5am...home at silly hours. So a cast and crew showing, then a red carpet premiere - deserved, really. So we have quite an attachment and gratitude to the franchise. It has fed and clothed us for a decade. Labour of love for a lot of people, whatever anyone thinks of it. So enjoy and remember all the people behind the scenes...but you will cry. Oh yes.

VoldemortsNipple · 10/07/2011 00:08

punkatheart [henvy]

The Dukes Theatre in lancaster has done the theatre up Harry style complete with a Griffindor common room and are giving out Harry glasses, choclate frogs and butterbeer. Im thinking of taking a day off work and getting the train up there

OP posts:
Punkatheart · 10/07/2011 00:12

.....not so sure about the butterbeer but how lovely for the rest. Great to see such passion!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/07/2011 00:24

The Lancaster thing sounds great, as does the premier. Envy

I saw The Half Blood Prince at one of its premiers and briefly met Alan Rickman (fans self). It was amazing.

HowlingBitch · 10/07/2011 00:26

njsdhfsegjdrfjidfgoidrf!

Ahem, Remus. Do elaborate. [hsmile]

VoldemortsNipple · 10/07/2011 00:26

Mmm butterbeer, its probably butterscotch flavour milkshake. Isnt that what its like in universal studios.

Is your DH working on getting Leavesdon Studios ready for the HP tours next year.

We are going down to London next year for the olympics and will be doing the tour. They recon it will take about 3 hours. Can you imagine 3 hours walking in Harry's footsteps!

bruffin · 10/07/2011 00:50

My DD found a recipe for Butterbeer she desperately wants to make. It includes butterscotch syrup, butter and cream soda, apparently you microwave it to make it frothy.
