Forgot to name change.

I cried at Dobbie's death in the last one, goodness knows what I will be like at Snape's.

Oh my gosh. Snapes death will be awful. In the book when he says what he says to Harry as he dies. Sheesh. Trouble is I read the guardian review of it and it was full of spoilers which annoyed me massively

Rickman is alive and well - he swished past me on Thursday looking his imperious self.

YANBU.

I love all things HP, love all the characters.
It will never end for me.
A close family member works at the studios in Herts so I will miss all the secret titbit info.

I wear a Slytherin scarf. For Snape [hsmile]

Watched it on Friday - it's AMAZING. Cried buckets. My only quibble is that they really don't show why Harry survives.

When I read this enthusiasm, it makes all my OH's late nights, hard work and at times, huge stress - all worthwhile........

I hope you like it...

queenmaeve, we are also watching a film a day in the run-up. Tickets bought on-line for the first performance Wednesday 2pm.

This time I've deliberately NOT watched any trailers, looked at any photos etc. I usually soak up all things HP before going to see the film (often rereading the book) and often feel I've already seen the best bits. I'm really, really excited. All three of my dcs are coming even though the dss are 22 and 20! They grew up with HP so are nearly as excited as dd and me!

PS VoldemortsNipple, how's your dd's bedroom these days?

Report
monkeymiss · 10/07/2011 20:22

I would be very excited. I am a couple behind on the films, and not able to get out at the moment (rubbish baby sleeper), otherwise would be about the film premiere.

I cry every time I re-read a book and I just want to go to Hogwarts; I want it all to be real. DH just cannot understand it.

Harry Potter reawakens a passion in me I have not felt since childhood.

Punkatheart I think I might love your OH. Tell him thank you for the magic (in the tune of abb
yellowingwallpaper you can keep your dodgy copy. First time has got to be on the big screen to capture the magic, and also cos it puts food on punkathearts table.

Longtime DDs room is quite messy at the minute because I slacked off during exam time but its certainly not like it was.

Thanks Vol - I will send your love. He is also a lovely fellow - very even-tempered and cuddly. I am deeply proud of him, particularly for remaining normal in an industry that has a level of silliness and egos.

Let me know your thoughts after the screening.

yellowingwallpaper, how can you download it it's not even out of the cinema.

i thought it had to be out on DVD before downloading

VoldemortsNipple · 10/07/2011 22:41

Somebody who was lucky enough to go to a premier screening took in a sneaky camera and filmed it so you can see the back of peoples heads and it has dodgy sound.

We've made it onto discussion of the day. How magic is that!
