I thought I was excited, but I feel some people have gone slightly OTT on here. [hwink]

Loving the new smileys though!! [hgrin] All posts this week are going to be flooded with the bloody things. [hsmile]

Very [hshock] and [henvy] that some people have already seen it. Dreading the deaths though! I don't do crying in front of people. [hblush]

I refuse to go to the cinema to see is it as i know i will cry hysterically with a few of the deaths, mainly Snapes. I think his death and memory is going to be the most upsetting thing in the film, as well as freds death. I'm not overly attached to lupin/tonks although it is really sad.

i really don't want to embarrass myself, but it looks amazing.

My OH is on another film now but will be involved with Leavesden again. It is going to be a fabulous site and a great example of what Alan Sugar calls reinvestment. So many films are now being made in the UK and a lot of that is thanks to Potter, the fervent fans and all the creative talent swimming around here. I think there is a 'making of' with Ben Shepherd on Saturday...which shows you a little of behind the scenes......truly the word magic is really appropriate. One of my fav things was always to look at those talented people in the workshops making wands etc. A lot of women work as propmakers by the way - they are very good at it....

Id totally forgotten about the Ben shepard behind the scenes programme. I've just set it on sky +.

The whole Snape saga is so important but I'm sure they will get it right. DS2 questions me endlessly on intracate details of all things Harry. There's bits I skirt around so he can find out for himself and Snapes story is one of those parts.

DCs all have replica wands, they are indeed works of art. The HP movies have all been so well made. I love the fact of when they introduce a character they are instantly recognizable with the mental image from reading the books. Most other films fail at this and you spend the first half an hour thinking they don't look like that.

I think also - because it was always intended as a long franchise, the props and sets have been made solidly. Diagon Alley was amazing and went my daughter went on set when she was little, she was scared. Most films have that MDF sense close up....very flimsy. So this project was unique. I love the sound of your DS2, Vol...sounds like me as a child. Lots of questions - great!

when we went to see part one, I said to him watch this bit closely when Harry won Malfoy's wand. I had about an hours worth of questions on that one. Trying to give enough info so he will understand without spoiling the end.

DSs are both dyslexic so they struggle with the books. I'm hoping for big things with Pottermore, it sounds like the perfect way for them to read with lots I of interaction along the way to make it less scary.

I am going to see it on Friday night (with friends) AND on Saturday morning (with dp)!

I can't persuade my mean dds to watch any of the other films with me today though. :(

Tell me more about 'The Making Of' programme please...when is it on? What side?

Although I've not gone to the extent of recording all things HP, or fancy dress etc I am uber excited about it.

Cashed some Odeon points in, so got 2 free premier seat tickets for Friday morning. Hurrah!

When we went to Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I was so excited I nearly wee'd! The castle is just amazing.

BTW - the butterbeer tastes exactly like cream soda. They have a seperate tap for the froth. Chocolate frogs are lush and so are acid pops!

I'm watching it in 2d, as I already wear glasses and hate wearing 3d ones over the top.

WWofHP was AMAZING! Hogmeade is spot on - all the shops etc are exactly like in the film. It was even better at night, when it was dusky.

YANBU.

Me and DS2 watch the trailers at least once a day.

The first time I saw a tiny clip of one of the deaths on a trailer, I cried. God knows what I'm going to be like when it comes to seeing the actual film Hmm

I absolutely cannot wait. I am going to cry not only because of the plot/deaths, but because it's the last one :(

I would so love to go to WW of HP but I have to win the lottery or receive inheritence from some long lost relative first. I know leavesdon isn't having rides but I hope they do a leaky cauldron cafe where we can buy butterbeer and a decent giftshop to buy things.

I am excited but not excited enough to have booked tickets to premieres. Although I could have got the jump on a lot of you as it opens here (Australia) on Wednesday 13th, instead of Friday 15th July (dunno why!) which would have been fun - but really, it's hard enough getting DH to come with me as it is, without making him suffer through a really crowded cinema as well. So - we will wait a week or so and then go during the day to avoid the crowds. DS (3.7) is still too young for this one; he hasn't even seen Part 1 and I don't think I would have let him watch the Half Blood Prince either, except DH put it on without thinking and then there would have been hell to pay if I'd stopped it. DS is a very big HP fan already - loves it, so far his favourite is the Prisoner of Azkaban, although Goblet of Fire runs a close second (wolves and dragons).

We're going to go for 3D as we saw Pirates of the Caribbean 3D and they did the HP trailer in 3D then and thought it would be worth it.

I hate crying in front of people, so I'm not sure if I dare see this at the cinema. I'll make a complete fool out of myself[hshock]

Can you actually cry so much that your contacts fall out?
