Ive pre booked my premier seats weeks ago
I have a countdown on my phone
I recorded all the interviews last week on daybreak
I have worked out which charactor suits all my workmates
I get a little pang whenever I think about Fred, Lupin and Tonks
I feel like its the run up to Christmas when I was small
Ive even planted a pumpkin

I've just finished reading it again and cried at so much of it - the kiss / Kreacher leading the elves armed with kitchen forks / Colin he was tiny in death / Lupin looking less shabby in the stone than he did in life / Dumbledore offering Harry the chance to just get on a train/ Albus Severus / Look at me /

I really, really hope they do it justice. I can't wait.

Remus, its all those small details that make it so good. I learnt after the first film not to read the book just before the film because you notice how much they have to leave out. Next week I will enjoy reading the book to fill in all the gaps.

Yes, darn those famous folk! Last year Rupert Grint came up to my OH at the party and had a chat. All those famous people and he just wanted to chat normally. He really is the most genuine and lovely boy - sorry man. Daniel is puppyish indeed. Such a baby when he began. What a strange life they have all had...

I had a great time reading Daniel Radcliffe's biog yesterday after watching footage of the premieres - he's so short! so I googled his height (5'5, bless! even I'm taller than him!). It's going to be a bit of a trial for him re. further film roles, I would think.

Love that Rupert Grint has a hovercraft. That made me :) - it's the sort of thing I'd get if I had wads of money too.Grin

AIBU to have a secret crush on Rupert Grint even though I'm old enough to be his mother big sister? He seems like such a nice young man. He deserves a medal for managing to look interested enough to answer the millionth question about kissing Emma Watson.

And because they're back [hgrin].

Rupert does seem a thoroughly nice you man. YANBU. Smile

Dan's too wee to fancy, despite me being a fucker for dark hair and blue eyes.

I'll stick to the MEN: who the hell would you do first, out of Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman and Ralph Fiennes? Confused

Jason Isaacs Grin. Was relieved to find it was not just me who finds him attractive even in the Malfoy getup...

Jason Isaacs, Ralph Fiennes and Alan Rickman last.
David Thewlis beats them all though

In the last film JI/LM had a slightly dishevelled, stubbly Malfoy thing going on. That was weirdly attractive.

he looked like he'd been on the pop/not had enough sleep. I admire that kind of dishevelled look....

I am going on the 15th - because it is my birthday!!! Sooo excited, but I think I will be really sad to reach the end of it all....

Tonks doesn't have a huge part in the films, but thank goodness they didn't give her that ridiculous accent Stephen Fry used on the audio CDs - whose idea was that? She sounds like a character from a Victoria Wood pantomime - no other character has such an exaggerated accent, so why she had to be so hammy, I have no idea! It's not like she's a comic character, after all, unless you find metamorphmagi amusing, Mr Fry, hmm?

What on earth accent does SF give Tonks on the audio CDs??

Report
EuphemiaMcGonagall · 12/07/2011 16:34

Have you heard Lee Mack do his really exaggerated Lancashire accent? It's like that. It really sounds like they're setting her up to be a comic character, rather than a cool auror.

The girl who plays Tonks is also in a band and she plays at lot of the Harry Potter parties. She's good, too!

When The Deathly Hallows came out, I bought the audio CDs for DSs. With boys being boys, I knew DS1 would skip to the last cd to see who died. So I removed the last 2 cds and hid them. I've never been able to find them since so poor DSs have never been able to hear the end.

that's poetic, that, Voldemort'sNipple. You'll find them in about 10 years time, probably, when CDs are obsolete [hgrin]

Tis the 13th July here now! Opening of HP the Last is today, my friend is going to see it for her birthday treat. I'm going next week for my birthday treat [hgrin]

It opens here today too Thumbs (Belgium) so we're off this afternoon. I have a really bad sore throat (feels like I'm swallowing razor blades) but I'm still going.
