I wish!

Jazzicatz · 06/04/2011 16:21

He did pretty much when I had one!

BarbieLovesKen · 06/04/2011 16:21

Yes. Every single time.

Ok, maybe once or twice he didnt over the years and its very, very unusual for that to happen!!!

hmm, mostly. There are times (of my menstrual cycle) when I know that it is much much more difficult for me to reach orgasm, and during those times I sometimes just have sex for our mutual enjoyment, knowing I am unlikely to orgasm. Other than that then pretty much always.

GabbyLoggon · 06/04/2011 16:31

I shall look that word up in the dictionary when I get home

Olifin · 06/04/2011 16:34

Yes, and often more than once. Rarely through penetrative sex though.

janetsplanet · 06/04/2011 16:34

i bend the truth

SmashingNarcissistsMirrors · 06/04/2011 16:36

these days yes. in the early days i pretending a few times until he learnt how i 'worked'.

i also believe you are responsible largely for your own orgasm.

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/04/2011 16:36

Namechanged for this.

Not always no, and it is even worse at the moment because I am taking medication which has made it bloody near enough impossible to orgasm.

Which is a bastard as the desire is there, and my libido is actually sky high but it is very rare that I see it through, iyswim.

It has been hard as of course DP thinks it is a reflection on his skills, which it isn't. But it is very difficult I think, I personally don't mind (much) as I enjoy it anyway, but I know DP finds it less enjoyable when I don't.

We talk and reassure each other a lot

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/04/2011 16:37

Oh for fuck's sake, that didn't work did it Blush

Oh bollocks

BarbieLovesKen · 06/04/2011 16:37

No - you didnt namechange getorf Grin

YouaretooniceNOT · 06/04/2011 16:38

If you don't make it fake it!! Very rarely for me!

Olifin · 06/04/2011 16:38

I wonder if your medication is an SSRI GetOrf? If so, you should find the situation improves. I couldn't for a while but it's returned now, thank goodness.

Newgolddream · 06/04/2011 16:41

Can I ask if you mean through actual sex, or if hes allowed to "finish the job" after hes finished lol. Blush Grin

Because if its the former then rarely but he always does it before and after so I usually end up with 2, sometimes 3 Blush

welshbyrd · 06/04/2011 16:41

My DH last mid way through the motions, said "about the hallway, are we going with a dado rail" Shock It certainly spoilt the mood I can say

Also Im in your boat Olifin, rarely through penetrative sex, but my DH does tend to make sure I orgasm, obvs apart from last night where his mind was else where Blush

How do MNers DH/DP feel about us females having vibrators/sex toys?

TattyDevine · 06/04/2011 16:43

Don't worry Getorf - dont get that deleted as people will think what you said was worse than it is now your name has been mentioned below (and by me, now!). There are loads of medications that do that - so nobody will think badly of you/your DP. Its not like you said "uh yeah I just lie to boost his ego, what's an orgasm, isn't it my job to pleasure him" or some such bollocks which is definitely worth name changing for!

Cor blimey it must be blinding when you do get there Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/04/2011 16:43

Oh well. At least you know when I start ranting and swearing on here it is borne from frustration Grin

No Oli - not SSRI but SNRI (fuck knows what the difference is anyway) but anorgasmia is one of the common side effects. Which is a bastard as strangely enough my libido has gone through the roof. I am like a tom cat on heat, I start thinking hmm about most men I meet, but when I do have sex (not with some randomer you understand) it gets nowhere. The thing is persuading DP that I still enjoy it (I do) and it is not his fault.

It is an incredibly strange feeling. It is like when you think you are going to do a great big sneeze and someone distracts you, and the sneeze goes.

Think I am oversharing now but hey Grin

Mrswhiskerson · 06/04/2011 16:43

Every time and if he does before me I get extra love afer iyswim.
I think it come from us boh having had good and bad lovers before we met each other so we both know what we like and are vocal about it , I have never been shy when it comes to good sex why should I be everyone deseves good sex.
Don't worry getorfmoiland it is quite common I have been on medication that has the same effect , the minds willing but the body isn't although I have still enjoyed sex without the orgasm it was hard for my dh too , good on you for not faking it , it's much better to be honest about it .

welshbyrd · 06/04/2011 16:43

Last night* sorry, bloody kids knocking the door every 10 minutes, Is DD coming out?

OP posts:
Olifin · 06/04/2011 16:44

My OH is very happy about the fact I have a vibrator :) I only ever use it when we're together as using on my own never seems to occur to me, for some reason.

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/04/2011 16:44

I have not even considered faking tbh.

GetOrfMoiLand · 06/04/2011 16:45

Nah, I won't delete it.

I have probably said worse on MN whilst pissed anyway Grin

dementedma · 06/04/2011 16:46

are SNRI the same as anti-depressants as I am having the same problem here with the side effects of ADs. it's like when you have a bad cold and you can feel the food in your mouth but can't actually taste it. you feel rather cheated on the whole experience somehow! Grin

welshbyrd · 06/04/2011 16:46

Loving "tom cat on heat" have not heard that in a while
