I just saw this on the BBC. I am genuinely shocked, and horrified. What grotesque minds these people have.

They'd probably put in a slight delay and beep out any swearing, though.

Given the Americans’ current track record on executions, the firing squad will probably miss the target repeatedly & the terrorist will survive.

The US is not a civilised country and their current administration has fascist tendencies. We should not be surprised by anything that we hear.

But the idea of turning state-sanctioned killing into a form of livestreamed entertainment is sickening.

I have no interest or desire to watch, but there will be plenty that will. If he’d killed or injured one of my loved ones, I may want to see him die and be glad if others watched it.

Yes. I just can’t bring myself to care about this man being killed and it being live streamed after what he did to other innocent people. If people want to watch, let them.

That's really not the point. It's not about the perpetrator, it's about basic respect for human rights.

The live-streaming is like the cackling crowds of the Middle Ages. It will reduce everyone’s death to entertainment- his victims included.

The damage is done to the watchers and the society in which they live - not to the watched.

How grotesque. I really hope maga lose the next election. The U.S. is on a downwards trend until then. And just a few days ago my (now former) favourite tv judge Judy was ranting about how the U.S. was the best country in the world and if people didn’t like it they could basically fuck off.

It’s amazing how so many of them fall for the propaganda. I knew an Aussie woman who lived in London and loved it. She met a US man while visiting there and eventually moved to be with him and was married within a year or so. She would rather he had moved to the U.S. but he had a child so obviously didn’t want to move away from the daughter so she moved there purely out of love.

His friends genuinely accused her of marrying him for a green card 😂despite the fact they met very organically and all her friends and family are in the UK or Australia plus she had never wanted to live in the U.S! It’s like they just think it’s so amazing everyone wants to live there.
