Charlie! 70s mum. I loved the way she smelt and she used to wear a green suede coat with fur collar. Such lovely memories.

My mum’s perfume was always Ysatis by Givenchy. My dad travelled abroad for work a lot when I was younger and he’d always bring her back a bottle from duty free. And she’s always used The Body Shop White Musk shower gel.

Norman Hartnell’s “In Love” was another favourite.

My mum was Rive Gauche when she went out too. Her day perfume was Miss Dior.

My Mum wore Tweed by Lentheric, I hated it! Before that it was Soir de Paris.

My mum never went out socially with my dad I don’t think she owned a perfume. She did a woodwork class and WI. Does that count?

Tweed when I was little, Rive Gauche later on. I remember she and all her friends had fur coats ‘for best’ and me not approving.There was roll on lipgloss and and metallic strappy heels.

Early 70’s. She wore fur coats, long dark brown platform boots (I wish I had them now) an always a glamorous wig. Wigs were very much ‘in’ at the time. Panstick make up and black cake eyeliner she used to spit in. Her blush was a colour called tawny and pale pink lipstick. I

In the 1980s it was Poison and then she moved on to Chanel no5

Only ever Chanel No5, dangly earrings, a chiffon evening gown, a slick of red lipstick, and diamond necklace ( probably paste). She looked magical.

Chanel #22 in the 60's and 70's then L'Aire du Temp by Nina Ricci in the 80's.
She was a very very glamourous woman, who wore gold jewelry well and often, always full (lightly applied) makeup and hair done up (curlers nightly).
went to bed with loads of cold cream/silk pillow and gloves on her hands.
She looked like Elizabeth Montgomery and had a lovely figure which she maintained forever.
BTW looking good/ looking young current and healthy was her full time obsession.

My dad was the lead singer in a band. My mum went with him on a Saturday evening.
She was stunning in a very short, navy mini dress, trimmed with yellow ric-rac on the hem and sleeves.

My poor mum seemed to get alot of Tweed as gifts back in the 70s.
I don't think she had a particular perfume in her later years tho.
I lost her 3 yrs ago.
Ooh I do remember M&S Magnolia in the late 80s, it was a thing lol.
